Went to Omarcitos for lunch today. Was my first time visiting. We ordered the steak jibarto and catfish jibarto, though the catfish was especially my favorite. The catfish was crispy, but fluffy, and flavorful. the plantain were sweet and crunchy. It was a perfect substitute for bread. The steak jibarto was also very tasty, it came with onions and possibly a melted mozzarella cheese. The vibe was nice as they also had a DJ playing music from the 70s and 80s. The catfish jibarto was so friggin good. I definitely will be back!

Woke up this morning to find my bike wasn’t where I left it.
It’s my only motor transportation and is what I rely on to get to work .

I saw a heron yesterday with a hook in its beak at the park. I called 311 and they said they would send someone. I went to the park again today and the heron was in the same spot with a hook in its beak. Does anyone know a bird rehabilitation contact that can help here?
