2008 H3 losing reverse
My wife’s daily driver (235,000 miles) is becoming flakey going into reverse. When she shifts, she hears it shift into reverse, but the vehicle doesn’t move. All other gears appear to be fine, just reverse.
Ideas?
H3 engine upgrades
Anyone done any other engine mods to your rig that have made it feel more powerful or just little bits of HP here and there? Such as upgrading throttle body, aftermarket MAF, aftermarket coils and spark plugs, exhaust? Ant positive experience? I am currently waiting on my PCM tune to return but wondering if I can squeeze in other ways to add some more power. It’s the I5. Not really sluggish but just wanting to boost it.

2005 H2 seat memory switch acting up
My 2005 H2 seat memory buttons are getting flaky. Sometimes they work, sometimes nothing happens, and it’s starting to get annoying after my wife drives it.
Thinking the switch is going bad. Found this one on Amazon:

Anyone swapped this before? Plug and play, or any weird H2 electrical drama?

Back door issue ( lol)
My back door rattles big time . Jack is tight even added foam around it hinges all look good latch’s good every tight no wear close the door an it’s fine with every bump it gets looser an looser when driving tire tire mount all tight. Owned this for almost 4 years can’t figure it out only thing I can think of is oversized tire too much weight. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks
Gemini update
Do we know when it’s going to rollout?
Also I’m not sure if anyone else noticed, but I have a 2026 SUV and king crab had to be in terrain mode with traction control off.
That just changed and now you can do it in any mode and traction control can remain on.
I think I found my new Hummer!
It’s a 2009, H3 with 113k miles. It’s not a 8 cylinder or alpha unfortunately, but it seemed to be in pretty good shape. It’s at a dealership so they’re doing all their inspections and what not. It’s in my price range. Should I do it? My dad and husband are on board with whatever I want to do, I am just nervous lol. I need my Hummer friends advice 🤣
Issue with reduced power and traction
2009 H3, about 140,000 miles. It did reduced power and barely drove and accelerated. Replaced the throttle body sensor and housing.
It’s driving so much better now, but twice now when it has rained it will throw messages about reduced power and loss of traction.
Both times we turned it off and let it sit a few minutes and it was fine. I was able to drive it with those messages and it drove ok…acceleration was slower and you could tell it wasn’t quite right, but it did drive.
I would love any insight to this. Maybe wiring? Both times it has happened when it rained, so I would imagine something to do with that?
