I haven’t opened the game for quite some time, but I recently decided to reimmerse myself in it for a few days. I love playing on Hirsch and usually hunt pretty much every animal except rabbits regularly. This time though, I wanted to specifically try rabbit hunting. I already had several burrow locations marked on my app, so I went out to visit them. The problem is that EVERY single one of them was empty during their active hours (12:00–16:00), and they all consistently displayed the message “Used Recently” every time I checked them. At this point, I’m starting to think my game might be bugged or something. I’ve had problems with euro rabbits before too, although back then I was able to find at least one burrow that actually had rabbits in it when I tried.

As it says in the title I am wondering if it is a real thing.

I am currently doing a Red deer grind on Te Awaroa. I'm 700ish kills in with 20 somethinh diamonds. Most of my herd zones are shot down and I'm not really doing HM. But I noticed that the bucks in my zones aren't really getting any bigger or they're not showing up after respawn. I have checked the shot down zones multiple times and I am positive I have all my drink zones. So is this what they call grind fatigue?

I know they have a drink time but I never see them drink

I heard that there is a massive beta test for COTW at the moment, obviously its most likely under NDA but I wonder what could be in the beta test because if there are a heap of people in it wont it be a pretty big update?

I’m going to go ahead and throw my hat into the abyss and say the next map is going to be in Mongolia. Most of it is a hunch, but I have my reasoning. When you look at EW’s history they rarely release maps in the same continent back to back. The only exception was Rancho —> Mississippi. But that was justified because Rancho and Mississippi shared no species other than Whitetail. EW doesn’t like to repeat animal rosters between two sequential releases. Mongolia is not only in separate continent from the last map, but it’s in an area that is under represented. It could offer a bunch of unique species to the game that you’ll definitely not find on Scotland. Plus, it was in that questionnaire awhile back. You know what else was in that questionnaire… Falconry. And you know what Mongolia is known for? Yes Poland was also on the questionnaire but I don’t think EW is going back to Northern Europe. An Amazonian map is just as likely with this reasoning if the Capybara rumors are to be believed. I don’t think we’ll get an African map yet. EW will probably save that for the game’s 10 year anniversary. But I’ll probably be wrong. I just wanted to get my thoughts out there in case I do get lucky and guess the next map’s setting. Then my fragile ego can be satiated. 😊
