Anybody familiar with who runs/owns the Kennedy Center Baseball Field on Ohio River Road/Rt, 2?

I'm looking for some contact info. It used to be where Marshall played their baseball games, but they haven't used it in a while.

The last two Saturdays, there has been a REALLY LOUD baseball announcer for their baseball games.

Usually I wouldn't complain, and there are a lot of announcers who do baseball there, and they're at a perfect volume.

I was visiting my folks who live clear up the road and across the street from the baseball field, and we could hear him clear as day.

Hell, I could hear in the house, over music and television. He wasn't just loud, but he was obnoxiously insulting multiple people on the team as they played. I hope they weren't little kids.

I saw a thread on Facebook where people were saying they had been hearing it for a couple weeks too, and that even the cops were called for a noise complaint, but nothing seemingly had been done. (That thread quickly fell into a "it's a you problem, Karen," and "why did you move there?" argument. My folks have been there 40 years).

Let me be clear that it isn't a case of a typical "loud baseball game". Kids cheering, parents cheering, friends having fun, that's all perfect. It's ONE dude, acting like the loudest, drunkest dudebro you've ever met, with a loud-ass microphone.

looking for peeps to hang out with and stuff to do

Hey guys. Im 20 and I am mongomously married.

I move around a lot, but for now huntington seems to be our place for at least a year.

I dont have a car unless I drive the hubs to work, so kind of trapped at a hotel rn for this job we're doing at the steel plant.

Not exactly sure how to meet people when I don't have my roots down anywhere so this is my last resort.

Yeah, its probably not super safe to meet people from here, but it doesn't hurt to try.

I am not interested in any weird freaky stuff genuinely just looking for friends to talk to and/our hang out with.

No, I dont do drugs.

Currently unemployed. I rarely get put on the job.

I have a membership to the marshall recreation center I guess X)

Edit 1: I should probably add my hobbies. I have DJ deck here and a loud speaker. I like music and talking abt everything. I also like art, I like people teaching me stuff. Yeah idk. Lmk if you have any questions. Im interested in a lot of stuff itd be too much to list here lol

Sports Bars?

Hi everyone,

I’m fairly new to the Huntington Area (moved about a week ago) and with the NBA finals starting tonight just wondering what are the good sports bars/regular bars to watch something like that at?

I’m not particularly familiar with anything around here, so I’m kinda down for whatever!

Personal family items in my house from previous owners

Hi everyone, Ive got a question thats odd and probably impossible.

I bought my house last summer, am starting to clean out the attic and found a good amount of books, photos, trophies, dishes, etc that belong to one family. They date back to the 1960's.

I thought if I could find any relatives they might want some of it? I dont think I can but thought Id try.

Im not going to put my personal information out public but wondering g if I could go look at the library or something.
