Never imagined I'd do this but..

Never imagined I'd do this but..

I'm on the night shift abouts to make some noodles..and I realised I'd left a tub at home for it to be microwaved, So I improvised, boiling water and 20 minutes in the hydro flask and boom, just drained the water and I ate it out of a mug.

I've had beer, wine, whisky and coke, coffee, you name it but I've never once had food in my 6 year old hydro, man I love this thing

Leaking lids & such

Yall!

I love hydroflask bottles/colors so much. It's my favorite but I have constant leak problems so I am asking to see if there's any remedy.

I am ADHD and struggle with organization, etc, I need these to really BE leakproof, it's not a diss on the brand, just for my lifestyle trying to figure out the answers.

My closable press in lid leaks for my cup tumblers just because of how it's made I guess. It's not leakproof.

I have the flex sip wide mouth lid and it seems to just get knocked into open position at times when tossed in a bag.

Lastly, the tiny hole in the flex mouth pours onto me when I tip up to drink. I believe I'm supposed to keep it level to avoid it but I never do.

Do I just get a regular traditional lid that turns on and off for the bottles, will this solve this for the bottle?

And then for cups/tumblers seek out a new brand?
Thank you!

Is there a lid adapter to accommodate female threaded lid?

This is my 40oz homegirl, she’s been my ride or die with me for the past few years after I lost my first hydroflask in an airport (rippp). She’s very well loved as you can tell.

I saw this other bottle on sale for 50% when I was grocery shopping and I typically don’t give in to buying multiple bottles (especially when I have my one and she goes with me literally everywhere), but I really liked the lid. It’s a softer tip and the biggest pull for me was that I don’t have to unscrew the lid to be able to refill my water. It wasn’t until I got home though that I thought maybe I could switch lids onto my hydroflask and I could have the best of both worlds (but of course it’s never that easy). This one needs a female threaded connector but I’ve been having a hard time finding an adapter that would accommodate my new lid.

The closest thing I can find is this black plastic water tank replacement fitting, but I don’t think the actual hole is wide enough for the new lid. I have not seen any other adapters specifically made for water bottles that look like this, but it’s exactly what I need. Honestly, I could continue rocking my old lid, it’s fine, but if somehow I could make it work, I wouldn’t mind trying it out.

Does anyone know of an adapter that is similar or has anyone run across a similar issue? I love the size of my 40oz, the fact that she can fit in cupholders still, and she’s been loyal and good to me, but I just wanna switch up my lid game 🤣

Remove gasket during cleaning?

Hi! I’m wondering if you guys remove the inner gasket/o-ring during your regular cleaning? With my other water bottles, Owala or Stanley, I usually do a “deep clean” once a week where I remove all gaskets. But with Hydroflask I’ve never removed it. I wonder if I should be removing it more frequently?

couldn't take my eyes off this spotlight yellow

Finally got my hands on one of these from Target. My first 24-ounce, too. Cactus is still my favorite color, but I definitely dig this colorway.

I can still fix this, right?

I tried to open it to get a refill, unfortunately I somehow managed to remove the handle and I cant reattach it with my bare hands. Any advice on how I can reattach it?

is this mold forming on the lid of my water bottle?

i feel stupid posting this but just wanted some confirmation because when i search “moldy water bottles” nothing that looks like this comes up… i’ve only noticed it forming on the plastic. it looks like pen ink. what is it? has anyone else had this problem?

Long time Nalgene user switching to hydro flask

Just got my first Hydro Flask- 32-ounce with the chug cap in a gorgeous mustard yellow color. I love it!

I wanted to switch away from plastic, but I've used Nalgenes for 30+ years, and I'm incredibly used to the lid being attached to the bottle.

Is there any add-on for the chug cap so the lid stays attached while drinking —like the Nalgene? I'd had to drop the lid in the car or at the gym. Thanks!

Is there anywhere to buy these without replacing the whole lid?

Anyone know what these rings are on the inside of my Hydroflask?

Won’t wash off and seems weird to be in these ring shapes? Should I toss it?
