Curious to know what games surprised you with their audio.

I personally was blown away with Wuthering Waves and Clair obscur expedition 33. (Lowkey taking some game recommendations)

Overall the headset is great, but the most of you may noticed that 4.1.2.4 still has some minor issues with some odd noises (like clicking, minor buzzing whenever you launch or close apps) from time to time. Not sure if someone else has also other problems.

Since this version is live for quite a while already, do you think a new version is coming soon?
Once the remaining problems are solved I think its gonna be a great product (it is basically, but the issues tend to be a bit annoying)

I just got the 3s but it wont connect to my pc with the adapter. I can use bluetooth tho. In device manager i can find hyperx drivers but not under the audio input/output tab, and i cant change audio output to hyperx. The adapter light also doesnt then on or do anything when i plug it in. I think its an issue with my motherboard cutting off power to the usb, but idk how to fix it. I have the gigabyte b850 aorus elite wifi 7

Tldr: high treble in these headphones make my ears hurt. Is it fixable? if not, suggest better wired under 5k with a good mic (dealbreaker if not). Open to wireless too, just that their mics usually suck at that (5k inr) price point.

so been using neckbands/buds for a while and decided to get a proper over ear headphone. HyperX Cloud 2 were available for 5k in the amazon sale, and so decided to give it a try. Received them a couple days ago and i like them kinda.

They don't irritate my ears like the earbuds/neckbands do, but oh boy that high pitch treble is making my ears bleed.

The mic is surprisingly very good, much better than any price other in the in ear ones.

also nice that it comes with a detachable mic, and I like its comfort.

My use case is using it as a secondary headphone when i am on PC and some discord/meet calls for the mic, but that bad performance when using it for listening to music is very much a dealbreaker, especially for the 5K i paid it. Like my cheap 1.2k realme buds wireless 3 neo sounds so much better. Clearer vocals, nice bass, with just enough treble, compared to HyperX's high bass, high treble, and muffled vocals. Such a strange issue cuz I loved playing games (witcher 3, chivalry 2) on it. And then there's the excellent mic on it (ofc nothing compared to the more expensive mic setups, but amazing for a headphone with a mic)

Can't find any headphone that fulfills my criteria of jack of all trades (like my neckband realme buds wireless 3 neo) with a good mic too. I would have just kept it as it is, if not for the high treble making my ears hurt. So split, cuz its an amazing package, just that the few issues it has make it a dealbreaker.

Also, would love a good wired headphone with a nice mic for calls, under 5k. Wireless is my preference ofc, but am aware i wouldn't get one in this budget, and that with a nice microphone too. Jlabs jubs luc anc has been on my radar, but the mic is mostly shit.

so yeah, pls tell if i should keep it or not with fixes for the high treble. If not, would love a nice wired over ear headphone rec, under 5k.

Hi, thinking about getting this headset to work with my steam machine and was wondering if anyone has tried it and if it works well?

Guessing it would work well with the dongle? Or with Bluetooth.

I've read many reviews, bought the Hperx cloud 3 was very disappointed so I returned it and bought the steel series, felt so much better till I felt there is an audio delay from the headset and some other issues like when I increase the volume I cannot see the volume of the windows itself

other than that it wasn't heavy and wasn't crushing my ears so it felt so comfortable
unlike the hyperx cloud 3

and it really hurts my ears...
btw I bought hyperx 3, then returned because of the steel series issues as well but it was comfy, then returned and got the hyperx 3 again after I saw some posts saying it will solve some of the issues and it didn't so I really want to return this sad headset again
What would you recommend? or what do you recommend something in the budget of 100 Euros and wireless

Hi, I've been using the HyperX Cloud 3 wired on xbox for over a year but since the beginning my friends told me that my mic sounda weird and that it cuts every few seconds or hear some static. I'm starting to really be frustrated and planning to buy a new headset but I wanted to know if it's my headsets fault, xbox or maybe some setting.

Please let me know.

I have the hyperx solo cast 2 microphone, every since day 1 its been nothing but ridiculous software bugs and audio device issues due to Ngenuity software it feels like i have malware sometimes because it just doesn't work and breaks the microphone.

issues:

1. 100% of the time when my computer restarts, the microphone does not work, nothing i can do in device manager or sound control panel to fix it, i have to close ngenuity (i tried having it start with windows, delayed start, or manual start, nothing makes the mic work out of the box). retart it, click the button that says "no audio devices detected [switch to solocast 2]" the [] are a button, it basically says we found your mic, we refuse to use it unless you click this button........ why?|

2. 75% of the time after clicking the "[switch to solocast 2]" button, the mic still doesn't work. the raw hardware does not pic up any audio, neither does the virtual microphone. when issue #1 happens, i always see the hardware mic picking up audio. but then it escalates here and ngeunity just breaks everything.

3. Pollution devices, Ngenuity has created about 8 audio devices, streaming, headphones etc.. i dont understand why my pc must be polluted with 8 "ngenuity xxxxxx" devices, it just makes the whole thing a nightmare, if you disable these devices, they force enable immediately (hence the malware feeling).

this isn't even all of the issues, there are tons more, this is just the top 3 (its just 1 issue really that piles on itself). that prevent me from using the devices and ruining workflow.

i spent 2 hours talking to customer support, refused all the info i gave them before hand in terms of what i tried and forced me to try everything again. after 2 hours customer support they went
"oh, yea this is a problem, can you go fill out a warranty request"....

I asked them why not tie to this conversation with all the screenshots, all the attempts i did. your website prevents copy and pasting and i can't take my screenshots out, can you create a ticket with this info?

"no sir, unfortunately i cant and you have to submit a completely separate warranty claim and provide the information all over again".

WOW!

like an idiot, i did all that. submitted warranty claim, 100% ignored.

submitted a review on their website, got an email to verify i was real, i did. 4 days later, review removed from website, only 5 star reviews remaining.

be ware of these products, this has been going on for over a year and no progress has been made at all.

I've had the HyperX Cloud 2 headset for a while now but happened to accidentally break it. I would just buy another Cloud 2 but no store near me has them in stock. Now i'm looking at some new headsets and i'm stuck between the HyperX Cloud 3 and the Cloud Alpha. I've seen some people complain about the Cloud 3 sound quality and was wondering if it's really that bad? If i do end up with the Cloud Alpha, do i buy the wired or wireless version?

Buenos días, he comprado unos auriculares cloud 3 s wireless y muy bien con ellos, pero tengo problemas con el software ngenuity. Tengo activado el audio espacial de 8 canales pero cada vez que incio windows 11 me dice que no hay dispositivo de sonido activo en la propia aplicación, y tengo que darle a un botón para que funcione. Tengo como dispositivo predeterminado en windows el sonido espacial de los auriculares, con lo cual ya debería reconocerlo la aplicación automáticamente, entiendo. Por otro lado, tengo otro problema, cada vez que inicio la aplicación me dice que hay una actualización disponible (creo que es la 3.0) y parece que la instala pero siempre hace lo mismo. Los auriculares me encantan en todos los aspectos, pero el software hay que mejorarlo porque no funciona bien. ¿Habría alguna manera de solucionar estos problemas o hay que esperar a que arreglen la aplicación en futuras actualizaciones? Hi, i want to buy a nice WIRED headset for my gaming laptop. Should i go with the cloud 3 wired? I heard that its sound quality is terrible and that it has no bass. I am not a hardcore gamer. I play single player games for around 1 hr a day. I mostly watch youtube videos and play music.

Please help me out.

I used to hear that HyperX Cloud 3 gives high performance in Audio and Mic and today I bought it I was waiting for something wonderful but unfortunately I was disappointed by a normal headset in Audio and Mic my friend who has a cheap headset for $15 the same performance Am I overstated or are there settings to be made

I just upgraded from nari ultimate to cloud 3 wired and its been great so far i love it, but there is two options for spatial i dont know which is better so i decided to ask the pros here

I have a strange issue with my HyperX Cloud III S Wireless (AX6G1AA). When I put the headset on and shake my head left/right or toward my shoulders, I can hear a rattling/shifting sound coming from the left earcup, as if something inside is moving.

This is already the third pair I've experienced it with. I returned the first one and bought another, but the new pair does the same thing. A friend also has the same model (black), and I can hear/feel a similar noise on his headset, although it's less noticeable.

Interestingly, if I hold the mic mute button while shaking my head, the rattling disappears.

Has anyone else noticed this with the Cloud III S Wireless?

• Is this normal for this model?
• Could something inside the earcup be loose?
• Could this be from somewhere or something else?
• Could it become worse over time?
• Should I return the headset again, or is this simply a characteristic of the headset?

I'd really appreciate hearing from other Cloud III S owners, especially if you've experienced the same thing.

I’m using the HyperX Cloud Alpha 2 and lately the Ngenuity app just won’t open – it instantly shows “Not Responding” and I can’t change any settings at all. I’ve already accepted that I have to deal with their software, but now it doesn’t even launch, and I’m pretty done with it.

If I switch to a different EQ app, can I still keep the spatial audio / 7.1 surround that Ngenuity provides and any features that are controlled through the HUB / base station ？

I’m fine using third‑party EQ as long as I don’t lose the main spatial audio and HUB functionality. If anyone has a setup that works well without relying on Ngenuity, I’d really appreciate the details.

I just got myself the hyper x cloud 3s wireless . What should I do ? should i leave it as it is or is there some sort of software?

Bought this yesterday and my mates in discord were able to hear my desktop audio when my mic was muted. Is this supposed to be normal? We tested it with my others friends headset as well (also cloud 3) and it was happening too
