The Imperator & the Dux Gladiorum of Amphoreus, Hysilens & Cerydra in the same team ?! Yes.

Everyone will tell you they don't work. Zero Synergy. Zero gameplay. Zero Fun. Absolute 000.
Better off pulling their BIS teammates. Play the correct teams. Pull that Kafka, get that Black Swan. E2 the Phainon. Get that Anaxa. Stop wasting your stellar jades, The Dux Gladiorum will never work with the Imperator !!
...And you know what ? They are right...
But today, that line of reasoning shall be ignored.

Let's try them together, months after their debut. No shilling, No Kafka, No Phainon, no DOT buff, no Stingray. No excuses. Does this team work ??

How does this work ?
Cerydra can double Hysilens' skill which can activate DOTs after receiving Cyrene's buff. Double DOT activation...sometimes...
Chess Piece activated = Fish gets activated twice = Fish Good.

I ran DDD on Cerydra since Hysilens is the Main DPS, helps with the ice warriors lowering our AV. ..Somehow the Imperator did not get the message so uhh, we'll just let her be.
Mortenax Blade is a man no one can control so let's excuse his DMG as well, he meant no harm yepyep.

This probably only works in Pure Fiction, never tried in MOC lmao XD (And yes this run is a 3 star clear in Starward mode, almost full cleared too, got 35k).

It's been a year since she has released, how has your time been with her? Are you happy with where your DoT team is at, or are you waiting for an eventual rerun to invest further? Currently have her at E1S0 (rest of the team E0S0), and I definitely want to invest a bit more in the team when they eventually get a rerun.

I still go back to the area in Amphoreus (Dawn, "Warbling Shores" Styxia) where Frozen Tides plays, once in a while. It left a big impression on me, and it's nice that we can just sit around and listen to the song whenever. I'm really hoping we get to see more of her (and Cerydra) if we go back to Amphoreus at some point.

Recently remembered she had a "Midnight Carriage" (essentially ASMR) video, it's not on HSR's Youtube channel for some reason, but here's a link to the English and Japanese version if you want to listen to it again! Not sure how much I like that type of thing, but both VAs have a fantastic voice so it's something?

Pretty happy with the DoT team, gameplay wise and overall character wise. No clue when we'll get another addition to it (whether it be a DoT sustain or just another DoT unit in general), but I'm pretty happy overall.
