[AMA REQUEST] Anyone who uses an exoskeleton, dermal microchip, cochlear implants or other human augmentation as part of your job

I came across a Reddit post from 10 years ago which asked about human augmentation (the fusion of man and machine) in the workplace and it had some fascinating responses. Since then, significant advancements have been made in this area (along with government commitment, investment, post-Brexit deregulation etc) so I thought this might mean that there are now some even cooler stories out there about its emerging/growing use:

Anyway, if you can answer the in the affirmative to the above title then it would be great if you would be willing to share your experience on:

  1. What is your job, the human augmentation device and how does it help you do your job?

  2. What are the benefits that the augmentation brings to your job and your workplace more broadly?

3.What are the downsides/challenges of using the device both for yourself and colleagues?

  1. What (if anything) could have been done to help you and colleagues with the implementation of the technology, particularly but not limited to trusting its adoption?

5.Any further interesting/funny/surprising stories about the use of human augmentation devices in the workplace?

Thanks for reading. Look forward to reading some interesting responses!
