I can see i got kakinda campus under OBC category for IB but BA shows I’m not in merit list or waitlisted. I got a mail from IIFT D that i have been placed in WL for IIFT D BA.

SC category here.

Initially rejected, but got IIFT GIFT City in the 2nd list for MBA-IB. My preference order was Delhi > Kolkata > Kakinada > GC.

If I pay the ₹2 lakh acceptance fee, what are my chances of getting upgraded to Kolkata through internal movement?

Any SC candidates or seniors who experienced this in previous years?

I've converted both IIFT Delhi BA and IIFT Kolkata IB. I'm considering paying the seat acceptance fee for both because I want to stay eligible for any internal movement/upgradation (especially Delhi IB).

A couple of questions:

1. Is it allowed to hold both offers and pay for both seats simultaneously?
2. If I later withdraw from one of them, how does the refund work?
3. The offer letter says refunds are as per UGC guidelines, but how do we find out the "last date of admission" that's used to calculate the refund percentage?

The first installment is around ₹3.4 lakh, so I don't want to make a costly mistake. 😅

Would appreciate any insights from current students or anyone who has gone through the process before.

What you guys think about IIFT Kol, will it be a good bet? As placements are getting separated how it will impact the current median 22LPA?
Will the FMCG companies visiting Delhi will visit Kolkata?
The profiles and percentile of students from both campus almost lies in same bracket it’s just a matter of 2-3 composite score.

What's the dress code for classes for girls at IIFT Delhi (MBA IB)?

In the mail they said to visit campus (delhi) on June 29 at 9am in the provisional offer letter. Now I've booked tickets for June 28. Will they provide hostels on day 1 or later? As I'll find a hotel room or pg as required.

Also reaching IIFT Delhi Campus on June 28th is enough. Or should I come early?

I had an external WL of 80 in General category and have currently converted IIFT Gift City campus. I also saw that people with external WL of 73 converted Kolkata campus. That means I'm at the top in Gift City campus currently as per merit rank and should convert Kolkata campus in the next round.

1. Do I have any chance in converting Delhi campus?

2. Till what external WL in General category did folks convert Delhi campus last yr?

3. Till when can I withdraw the complete amount of the first installment fees of 3.4L if I don't convert Delhi?

Requesting any of the current IIFT IB students or alums to help me with this as IIFT is my best call.

My IIFT waitlist is 762.
I converted Kakinada campus. I had already paid INR 20,000 but I do not want to join IIFT unless I get IIFT Delhi

1. Can this 20,000 be refunded now?
2. Is there a chance I convert IIFT Delhi??
