How is the course and placements

I got a train from charlapalli at 7 in the morning on 7th July. Since it is 65 km frm the college Ig I need to travel the day before itself to reach there. But I have a programme till 7.30pm the previous day (6th). What should I do? What is the fastest and economic way to reach the station? Also when should I leave from the college to reach on time?

i have come back to campus after 4 years for a conference and it is impossible to get a good night's sleep. these idiot dogs keep fighting and barking whole night. why the fuck are they not neutered or better neutralised !!!

Ill be joining as a 1st year btech and def would be going to watch bnd and odyssey in the most premium format available. How do you reach there from campus and how muxh time does it take. Any curfew for 1st year btech students ?

I got admission in IIT Hyderabad and I always wanted to learn how to swim, I fear water a little but I believe with practice I can always overcome my fear. Does IIT Hyderabad have swimming lessons either free or paid ?

Have you noticed the discrepancy in the remaining fees shown on the AIMS portal?

Also on that note, should I buy a router or an Ethernet cable

I have recently accepted an M.Tech offer in Materials Engineering at IIT Roorkee.

I checked LinkedIn profiles of several alumni from the department, and most of them seem to be placed in good companies. However, LinkedIn only gives a limited picture, so I wanted to understand the situation in more detail from current students and recent graduates.

Some questions I have:

1. What is the placement for M.Tech Materials Engineering?
2. What are the average, median, and highest packages in recent years?
3. Which companies usually hire from the department?

Also, for students joining this year, could someone please confirm the documents required during the offline document verification process .

I saw that we can get cigarettes at King's. I want to know whether the common stuff(marlboro, goldflake, doubleburst) is available or only limited options?

Not planning on smoking inside campus. Just asking about the situation at King's before I visit
