Could anyone write their recent experience writing the final exam for chemistry, I have been studying for the last week and an half and write it on Monday and am worried that I don't know or remember all of the things that I need to know.

i'm starting to prepare for the final exam I was wondering if anyone that have done it recently have any advice for the exam and i'm not sure where to try the practice exam. Another thing ive heard its like the practice having 3 options for the essay and that the exam question is going to be the opposite of what the practice is going to be. would really appreciate any help i can get.

I’m trying to decide between OVS and TVO ILC for Grade 12 science courses.
I’ve seen really mixed reviews about OVS—some people say the exams don’t match the course content and are harder than expected, while others recommend it.
My main priorities are getting high grades, fair exams, fast marking/transcripts, and being able to finish 4 Grade 12 courses by December.
For those who’ve done either, which would you recommend?

I’m a bit confused on the wording of this? It says for the thesis statement, find historically significant events/accomplishments of a group and explain how it contributed to the development of a Canadian identity, that part I get, the part I’m confused on is the research question bit before the thesis as it shows in the instructions: does the research question not have to do with what we need to find for the thesis, or is it related? Sorry if the wording for this was confusing, I’m kinda terrible at explaining things

Im in SBI4U, and all of my answers on the d2l quiz got flagged as ai??? I didnt use ai for shit bro
so what am i supposed to do if i copy and paste my answers onto word doc and it still gets flagged? am i supposed to rewrite it all? im so confused wtf am i meant to do in this situation???? fml
Hi! I am currently trying to finish SCH4U this summer, and I am on unit 3. For the unit 3 research assignment, we only need to choose ONE equilibrium system, right? I had checked a reddit post from 5 years ago, and the commenters mentioned they had to research two examples (one being the fluoride example mentioned in the instructions). Since it has been a while since the original post, and there is a chance ILC has updated their assignments, I just wanted to check with current ILC SCH4U students or former students who completed SCH4U within the past two years.
My final mark showed up as 90% (89.78%) and when I did the final exam I got 22%, leaving my grade at a supposed 79.68 (or near this value) and on my final grade they put 79%? Did I get cheated on or.. because in Ontario above .51 = 1 grade up rounded..
I can’t tell you how much I regret not looking at reviews for this ‘school’, I’m posting this review on as many platforms as I can to say: if you can, avoid TVO ILC!!
I am a 20 year old student who struggles with ASD and intense Anxiety, when it came to completing in person high school I struggled extremely. I completed my Grade 12 education through OVS (wonderful alternative to this organization) But with OVS being a little out of budget I decided to complete some extra prerequisites for university through TVO. I cannot express the extent of my regret with that decision.
The only positive thing about TVO is the price point, but it seems as though you get what you pay for! Practically zero communication with teachers (or anybody for that matter), I faced extreme difficulties when I attempted to contact guidance after WEEKS of being denied my accommodations although I uploaded all the correct documentation. After reminding them of my rights and making them aware that I am aware, they seemed to fall to their knees pretty quickly.
It seems that anybody you speak with (if you manage to speak to someone) is either incompetent or it’s their first day on earth and they’ve been hired to work here.
I’ve seen others posting about issues with their AI detector and I can attest that I’ve also encountered this issue. Mind you, I’m currently enrolled in their Chemistry, Biology and Advanced Functions courses. And before you think to yourself, ‘Maybe a Bio or Chem report got flagged for AI’, oh you sweet sweet soul… The flagging I received was for a math assignment which required zero paragraphs or more than one sentence!! I guess formulas we’ve been using for decades are now considered AI.
Moving onto their grading. What is there positive to say about this? Zilch. Despite my struggles with attending school, I receive high 80’s to high 90’s in my courses. Which remains true with TVO. However. You will be waiting much longer than their “5 Day Marking Period”. The fact that you can only submit one assignment at a time is appalling considering the length it takes to get your f-ing grades back!
Speaking of lengths of time in which you can complete things, let’s talk about the exam! Now. I have been waiting for this mystical email containing the link to do my exam for almost a month and a half. After contacting them for the third time about this email, they have found another way to stall me. They claim that my ID doesn’t match the address on file. This effectively blocks you from accessing or further completing your courses until you update it which, you guessed it! Takes around another week. Why my address matching to my ID is pertinent, I’m not sure. I guess they’re desperate to send me old fashioned mail, anything that takes the longest!
Apologies for the lengthy review and rant, I feel like it was necessary and at this point, unavoidable, as the stress this has put on me trying to make deadlines for early acceptance has finally gotten to me.
TDLR: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! lol
Need to complete grade 11 uni chem + bio AND grade 12 uni chem + bio within like 5 months ish before uni deadlines.
Should I skip grade 11 and just go into the grade 12 classes??
