Huwag Mo Ngang Pighatiin Ang Espiritu Ng Diyos
https://reddit.com/link/1ulkpme/video/d0ythx8rcqah1/player
Ephesians 4:30–32
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving to one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Anniversary Thanksgiving 2018 CWS Processional Hymn
A Look Back at CWS Thanksgiving Processional Hymns
>"At habang nabubuhay,
Kami'y maninindigan.
'Di magtataksil sa kahalalan,
Tapat sa Iyong Iglesia,
Nang tiyak na aming makamtan
Ang pangako Mo pong kaligtasan!"
One of the most memorable CWS Anniversary Thanksgiving processionals is the 2018 Processional Hymn, "Tapat Ka, Ama, Kami Rin Sa Iyo'y Laging Magtatapat."
Released alongside its AWS counterpart, "Tapat Ka Sa Iyong Pangako, Kami Nama'y Magtatapat Sa Iyo," both hymns share the same central theme—God's unfailing faithfulness and the Church's solemn promise to remain steadfast in return.
Rich in lyrical message and accompanied by a beautifully composed melody, the hymn continues to be remembered as one of the standout CWS processionals of recent years. Its text reflects the resolve of the young members to remain loyal to their election, faithful to God's Church, and steadfast until they attain His promised salvation.
For the 2026 CWS Anniversary Thanksgiving, to be held on July 18, this processional hymn bearing the printed date 05/09/2018 is once again designated to be played as part of the Prelude lineup, allowing a new generation of choir members and congregants to hear one of the memorable CWS processionals from past Thanksgivings.

Special Hymns in July
Special Hymns in July
Beginning in 2024, the Music Department introduced the practice of featuring Special Hymns throughout the month of July as part of the congregation's spiritual preparation for the Anniversary Thanksgiving Worship Service.
Rather than using only the regular monthly hymn rotation, worship services in July include a special hymn—typically the fourth hymn in the lineup, immediately before the congregational prayer. These are hymns not commonly heard during ordinary worship services, with the exception of the last Sunday of the month, where "Ako'y Iglesia Ni Cristo" is sung.
Let's take a look at the Special Hymns featured in the July 2026 hymn lineup.
July 2
531 — Hindi Ko Sasayangin Ang Kahalalan Kong Natamo
Originally introduced for the 2024 Year-End Thanksgiving, this hymn emphasizes the importance of valuing the election we have received and remaining faithful to it. Its message closely parallels that of Hymn 374 — Mahal Ko Ang Kahalalan, making both hymns complementary in theme.
July 5
424 — Ako At Ang Aking Sambahayan
Debuted during the 2016 Year-End Thanksgiving, this has become one of the most anticipated hymns whenever it appears in the lineup. Inspired by Joshua 24:15, it expresses a solemn commitment to serve the Lord together with one's household. Its heartfelt message often resonates deeply with the congregation, making almost everyone dwell in tears.
July 9
536 — Aking Pagsisikapang Gawin Ang Nais Mo
First introduced during the 2025 Holy Supper, this hymn reflects the Church's 2024 theme, "Patuloy Na Magbigay-kasiyahan Sa Diyos Ang Kaniyang Bayan." It reminds worshippers to continually strive to do only what pleases God.
July 12
463 — Ang Buong Tiwala Ko, Nakasandig Sa Iyo
Released for the 2018 Anniversary Thanksgiving, this hymn reminds the faithful to place their complete trust in God and to draw strength from worship, especially amid life's trials and uncertainties.
July 16
444 — Kung Tayo Ay Tapat, Pag-asa Nati'y Matatag
Introduced during the 2017 Anniversary Thanksgiving, this hymn carries a simple yet powerful message: when we remain faithful, our hope in God's promises remains steadfast.
July 19
578 (formerly Hymn 386) — Aking Inaasam Ang Bagong Jerusalem
Originally released for the 2015 Year-End Thanksgiving, this hymn emerged during one of the most difficult periods in the Church's recent history. Sung entirely in unison throughout its stanzas and SATB for the refrain, it creates a particularly moving musical effect. Its message directs the congregation's hope toward the promised New Jerusalem, making it one of the defining hymns of the July lineup.
July 23 (Preparatory Worship Service)
As has become customary, the Preparatory Worship Service before any Special Worship Services features hymns from the previous year's Special Worship.
This lineup includes:
- 338 — Mapalad Ang Iyong Bayan Na Sa Iyo'y Nagtitiwala
- 537 — Magpatuloy, O, Magpatuloy!
- 542 — Matibay Ang Aking Tiwala, Pag-asa, At Pananampalataya
- 540 — Susunod Po Ako Sa Iyo, Jesus
This long-standing practice serves as a musical reflection on the previous year's spiritual theme while preparing the congregation for the upcoming one.
July 26 (Anniversary Thanksgiving)
The Anniversary Thanksgiving itself features a complete lineup of special hymns designated specifically for the occasion, including newly introduced compositions and the Processional Hymn prepared for the celebration.
July 30
477 — Paigtingin Ang Gawaing Pagpapalaganap
Originally introduced during the 2019 Holy Supper, this hymn encourages the Church to intensify the work of propagating the faith. Its placement immediately after the Anniversary Thanksgiving serves as a fitting reminder that thanksgiving is not merely an occasion to celebrate blessings received, but also an opportunity to renew one's commitment to the work entrusted by God.
Offering Hymn for the Month
445 — Ang Handog Ng Iyong Alipin
Originally introduced for the 2017 Anniversary Thanksgiving, this offering hymn is widely appreciated for its beautiful melody and lyrics, written by the late Pilar Manalo Danao. Its message reflects the humility and gratitude with which every offering should be presented to God, making it one of the most memorable offering hymns introduced in recent years.
Recessional Hymn for the Month
425 — Huwag Mapagod Sa Paggawa Ng Mabuti
Debuted during the 2016 Year-End Thanksgiving, this recessional hymn is generally reserved for Special Worship Services. It was last featured during the 2023 Anniversary Thanksgiving. Its message serves as a fitting conclusion to worship, reminding the congregation to continue doing good, remain steadfast in the faith, and live according to God's will even after leaving the house of worship.
A Departure from Previous Practice
In the previous year, it had been customary for the Offering and Recessional Hymns used during the most recent Holy Supper to remain in use throughout the month of July.
Because of this introduced pattern, many anticipated that Hymn 452 would once again serve as the Offering Hymn and Hymn 392 as the Recessional Hymn for July 2026. Instead, the Music Department designated Hymns 445 and 425, departing from the previous practice.
Interestingly, even when Hymns 452 and 392 were first introduced, they remained largely associated with the Holy Supper and have generally not been carried over for use outside that occasion.
The continued inclusion of Special Hymns throughout July has become one of the more meaningful musical traditions established in recent years. Beyond adding variety to the monthly lineup, these hymns help prepare the congregation spiritually, gradually building anticipation as the Church approaches one of its most significant worship services of the year.
