Hi guys I bought this phone (iQOO 15R) from Amazon great indian festival.variant is 8/256. It costs me 44,500 after applying all card and discount I ordered it on 8th oct midnight.
How is the deal is it overpriced?
Gaming is next level no comparison
Camera is disappointing, had more expectations
Performance is super no heating throttling etc.
iQOO 15R battery health dropped to 99% after 105 cycles — is this normal? Looking for tips
I purchased my iQOO 15R on July 5 and I'm currently on the August software update.
My battery health has now dropped to 99% after 105 cycles. I know 99% isn't necessarily bad, but I want to understand how iQOO calculates battery health and whether my usage is affecting it.
My charging habits:
- I usually charge only up to around 70%.
- Sometimes, before a long gaming session, I charge to 90%.
- During heavy gaming, the battery can sometimes go down to 5–6% before I recharge.
- I use the phone for gaming quite a lot.
- Battery drain is inconsistent: sometimes it drains quickly during gaming, while other times the drain seems much better under similar usage.
I also want to know whether bypass charging is safe to use regularly for long gaming sessions. Can it cause any motherboard or other hardware issues?
For people using an iQOO device:
Is 99% health at 105 cycles normal?
Does iQOO's battery-health percentage depend mainly on cycle count, or are other factors involved?
Is it bad to occasionally let the battery reach 5–6%?
Should I continue charging to 70%, or is 80–90% okay?
Does bypass charging actually help with battery health during gaming?
Why does battery drain sometimes vary so much between gaming sessions?
I'd appreciate advice from people who have been using iQOO phones for a long time.

I am mainly buying for gaming. Camera is the second priority. Does it overheat or throttle ? Are there fps drops ? Does the charger heat ?
Battery health dropped 1% in just 17 days — seriously, iQOO? I checked my battery health on September 16th, and it had dropped to 82%, so I noted the date down. Today, October 3rd, I checked again and it’s already at 81%. That’s literally a 1% drop in just 17 days. 💀 Is this normal?
Im genuinely so tired of this happening again and again on my iQOO neo 7 pro. The notification centre and the control panel freeze up while the rest of the phone works fine, and when I lock the phone it also glitches up and lags and sometimes just doesn't turn on and it gets annoying because even in an emergency my phone becomes unusable.
This issue has started occuring with the origin os 6 update and the devs haven't fixed this in MONTHS.
Does anybody know any workaround or how to fix this, Sometimes when I clear the background apps the notification bar comes back to life, but it's really dicey
(Yes restarting does fix this issue for some time)
