Reversal in ductus venosus Doppler

Hi all, today I had an fetal heart echo at 20 weeks scan and they identified high resistance in fetal dopplers. Here are the exact words that they shared. My baby was measuring 9 days behind during the anatomy scan with 1%.

  1. Elevated umbilical artery to middle cerebral artery pulsatility index ratio (2.3 to 1.4) with intermittent loss of diastolic

flow in the umbilical artery

  1. A wave reversal in ductus venosus Doppler.

I asked AI and it is super discouraging. Anyone had similar findings at 20 weeks and went on to have a success? I am not sure if I can take any bad news at this point!

IUGR Newbie

Hi all,

Within the last 48 hours I've gone through every emotion possible after being diagnosed possible IUGR at 24 weeks, because of a low measurement with my baby's abdomen (2nd percentile), and my stomach not measuring as big as expected at this time. It came as a complete shock to us, and I was heartbroken knowing this pregnancy won't be normal. I've read so many threads and have read many positive stories which is getting me through.

We were referred to a MFM doctor, did all the scans, and my placenta is delivering nutrients just fine. We then did an amniocentesis to hopefully get a better idea of what's happening. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I'm scared and sad, and just hopeful my baby will be okay.
