You know Oak is going to be delighted about a Lestat focused season. I just hope he doesn’t crash out too hard about Armand in the opening scene. 🤣

Because months ago we saw snippets of Claudia's diaries and how angry and dismissive she was of Louis. Screeners and leaks have all but confirmed and yet the fandom throws tantrums about Louis and Claudia being questioned about the train scene? Like, guys, it's not Lestat who is gonna call her a liar, it's herself who is gonna reveal it on the same pages of that diary you hold as the Sacred Bible to judge Lestat's character. It's coming or otherwise her arc will feel incomplete.

Personally, I can't wait to see that scene.

Tried to transcribe Hit The Lights to the extent it's seen in the auction. words with credit to willefroggie on X.

It's terrible & ain’t gonna resemble the eventual song at all (it’s just musescore playing it from the notes I put in!) but The Beautiful Unwell tried to read a blurry half-complete screengrab, because we may not be beautiful, but we make up for that in unwell, oh YEAH!

I couldn’t make out of the chords are supposed to somehow go in the inch order bit… and even the chords I wrote, I mean, some of them are blurry fuzzes… and some of the notes it was hard to read… and then I had to add an odd note here and there to fit the words. BUT THIS HAPPENED!

Louis’ omission of Lestat’s scars are the subject of a hot debate. People are choosing sides. People are upset. But I think we should all just chill for a minute.

First we know that Louis edits even if he does share a lot without permission.

We know that because he keeps some pages to himself from Claudia’s diaries. It may seem like a contradiction given he gave her rape story to Daniel. But it doesn’t have to be. I think he tells things he feels are integral to the story. But he doesn’t provide everything.

He’s the same way with Lestat. Yes he told about Magnus because he knows Lestat’s maker and what he did is integral to why Lestat is the way he is and how it affected Louis.

But Lestat’s scars are his story to tell and aren’t essential to Louis’ story the way Magnus is.

So yes Louis will share intimate details but he does omit intimate details that aren’t important to his story too.

I think this is done out of love and care. Not for nefarious reasons.

Do you guys know who is cast as Akasha? Just curious. If so, don't say it yet. I'm just curious if anyone knows. I saw an article but don't want to spoil what I saw. Wondering if you guys know. Should I post what I saw? Maybe it's old news and I'm late to the party lol.
