RGA321F Value?
Sorry for the bad pics, Im not very good at photos. I picked this up recently to replace a RGA121 I sold years ago regrettably (had to make a car payment to avoid repossesion). Just curious ballpark of what the range is for these? There is only 1 listed on reverb and not much history of prestige RGA listing. There is a small paint chip on the back tip of the lower horn, no damage to the wood, other than that just some light play wear. Came with the prestige case as well. I have no intention of selling, just trying to figure out if I did get a unicorn. Plays rad, I picked up a iron label rga awhile ago but it just doesnt compare to the RGA121 I had or this one in terms of how great it feels in the hands.
What guitar is this?
Hi I was gifted this guitar from a seller on Facebook I bought a fender mustang lt25 and he gifted me this with it told me to never stop playing. He was really cool I only started last year so I currently play a squier strat and I want to know info on this guitar, is better than my current guitar and should I put the money in to it to get it fixed he told me the input needs to be fixed cus it cuts out and the killswitch needs to be rewired.
Ibanez care and management
Soon I'm buying an Ibanez az47p1qm DEB, the neck feels great and it just sits so nicely on my lap. I don't know much about wood, oils and that stuff, can anybody help me with choosing oils for the ebony fretboard, maybe some nut lube and how to setup and care for the trem. For me the gotoh trem set up well is superior to a Floyd rose. Any help welcome.
NGD! Ibanez Alpha Series A527 in Nebula Shift 💙💚
NGD! Ibanez Alpha Series A527 in Nebula Shift 💙💚
After almost two years, my 7-string journey is finally over… and I couldn’t be happier.
*Fair warning: the lighting doesn’t do the Nebula Shift finish justice. It shifts between blue, teal, and green depending on the angle, and my room lighting flattened a lot of it. I’ll try to grab some outdoor shots when the weather cooperates.*
This wasn’t the guitar I originally planned to buy.
About 2 years ago I started putting money aside for my first 7-string. I researched for months and eventually ordered a Schecter C-7 SLS Elite in Blood Burst back in December 2025 (even managed to snag a $350 price adjustment).
Unfortunately… that turned into quite the saga.
The first guitar arrived after roughly three months with a significant section of missing paint between the fretboard and neck pickup, along with a few dents and a cracked grain on the side of the top horn.
We tried again.
Four months later, the replacement showed up with nasty scuff marks on the fretboard and wood splinters trapped under the clear coat on the back of the neck. It would’ve driven me bonkers.
At that point I just couldn’t convince myself to accept a brand-new guitar in that condition. It was disappointing because I really wanted that Schecter, but after two failed attempts it was time to move on.
That led me here.
The Ibanez Alpha Series A527 wasn’t originally on my radar. When I first saw the Iron Pewter version in the store earlier this year, I was in awe, but my budget (and my heart) were still set on the Schecter.
One of the staff put it back in the spotlight and mentioned they had a Nebula Shift at another Long & McQuade location, which was extremely gorgeous. Once I finally got it in my hands, the purchase decision became surprisingly easy. The craftsmanship was exactly what I’d been hoping for, the multiscale parallel wizard neck felt immediately comfortable, and the Fishman Fluence Moderns sounded fantastic for the kind of music I love to play.
And yes… it ended up costing about $1,000 CAD more than I’d originally planned to spend. But the feel, the tone, and the craftsmanship tipped the scales in its favour.
Thankfully, the amazing folks at Long & McQuade Richmond Hill (Ontario) worked with me to make it happen, and I’m incredibly grateful for their patience throughout this whole adventure.
This is also my first venture into both the extended-range and multiscale worlds. The multiscale neck felt surprisingly natural within minutes, and after a short session I was already wondering why I’d waited so long to try one.
Naturally, the first riffs played were…
🤘 Some classic Korn
🤘 Ice Nine Kills
It felt like the proper way to inaugurate it.
Now I need some advice from fellow A527 owners (or multiscale 7-string players):
❓ **If you play Drop A, what strings are you using?** The guitar came with 9-59s. Would you stick with those or move to something like a .062 for the low string?
❓ **Which Gator hardshell case fits this guitar properly?** I’d love to get it protected as soon as possible. The gig bag is nice, but I don’t trust it. 😆
Really excited to see where this guitar takes me. I have a feeling it’s going to inspire a lot of riffs over the coming years.
Please Help, can I even fix this?!
So for some context, I’m 19 and just worked a month and a half to be able to drop all of my free paycheck on this second hand Ibanez today and I was so excited to finally get it and get to shred on it but after the initial test, I knew I wanted to take some old parts I had to upgrade it. After spending all afternoon swapping out the pickups, cleaning it up and just generally caring for it, I went for the bridge because I have had very bad luck with the Floyd licensed bridges in the past. This was no exception.
The strings were basically all set up and I just needed to raise the bridge on the low E side when I realized it wouldn’t budge. So, to ensure everything was okay, I fully took off of the bridge only to then spend the next three or so hours fidgeting with the screw to no avail. I would not move at all. I tried, rubber bands, WD-40, superglue, just about everything. As a last-ditch effort, I used my dremel to try and cut a line that I could then use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew it but instead it just fully crumbled. Like half of it just obliterated itself.
I made an attempt to use the last piece to maybe get even a little torque but with even the slightest amount of friction caused that too to snap off.
I don’t even know what to do at this point. It’s probably far too late to ask you guys but I really cannot afford to buy another guitar at all let alone a new body or anything of the such. I’m so disappointed because I was so looking forward to playing it for so long now. I had had my eye on it for so long.
Any suggestions or ideas for being able to fix this idiotic problem would be SO helpful!!
TL;DR I screwed up bad and need a way to get this damn bridge screw out after hours of trying and breaking it worse.
Here's my ibanez m80m I did a full refinish on.
Bmw isle of mann green. Full refinish. Tone pot delete. Volume pot moved and swapped for coil tap. Ebony dyed fretboard. Paint matched headstock with flowcoated water mark. Tru oil gunstock finish on the neck. Just waiting on strings. The scale was hard to find a set for that I could put it in Drop D (dadgcfad)
EDIT: more pictures added to the comments.
I did body sculpting to be more like an rgd. I didnt care for the hard edges.
Here's a contribution to the sub. I've got a few more coming...
Get'm Get'm Wear strap that I got from Guitar Center of all places about 16 years ago. I love the way it marries up with my S2170.
Action Way Too High
I just got my Ibanez Jem Jr Pk, really nice, it sounds great but the action is ridiculously high. I have done everything in power and knoledge to fix it but I just can't.
Any help, suggestions?

RG850NT - any fans of J-Customs out there?
I’m looking to sell this and buy a Mesa amp.
How much do these go for?
Reverb says +\-£2000 but I’ve had no joy selling so far.
Any tips?

First ibanez guitar (1982-3)
I'm a beginner guitar player and wanted to go try some fender stratocasters as I'm a big Ritchie blackmore rainbow fan. Played a few Mexican strats then found this used Ibanez Roadstar 2 for $449 with hardcase. Didn't know a thing about it but it felt as good or better as the new guitars twice its price. What really sold me is it's from 1982-3 and I literally can't find a scratch or ding on it. It was in far better shape then a lot of the NEW strats on the wall at guitar center...
After almost 10 years we have finally reunited!
I’ve gotten this guitar back in 2011 for my Bday as a gift from my grandpa. This guitar has been with me during my golden years of guitar playing, we have been in a band together, learned music theory, song writing, etc… Back in 2019 I’ve lended it to a (former) friend and he attempted to steal her from me! After a lot of back and forth and arguments and ghosting that I’ve gotten I had to get reinforcements, I’ve had my cousin with his friends go and pick her up for me. Finally when it was in his possession he gave it to my grandpa and he kept it at his garage for a few years till my mom finally went on a mission to grab her for me. And here we are today, finally reunited and she definitely needs a set up! I’m in such tears rn and full of joy and I’m glad she is all in 1 piece!!
NGD! Vintage L-5 lawsuit Ibanez
So I got this guitar in late 2019...Then boom, the world shut down! It sat in my closet in the case the last 6 years..I got it back from the Luthiers today. Happy 4th baby! Its a 1974 Lawsuit copy of an L-5. I bought a pair of vintage Flying fingers, and American made wiring harness, ebony bridge with a Nashville type bridge. The flying fingers sound incredible; its been years since I've heard them...So impressed. Guitar plays absolutely amazing and sounds even better. Blow up a pic to see the FF pups..got the stinger and beautiful flamed maple back...She is a beauty.
Anyone have any idea what model this is? Thanks👍
Wow even the Phanatic has a Jem
The Philly Phanatic apparently has a Jem and he handed it to Ben to jam on top 😀
Searching for FRIX6FDQM
I know it's a long shot but if anyone has one they're willing to part with I'd love to make a deal

AZ2402 3rd String Sustain Issue
Hello everyone, I have a new Ibanez AZ2402 purchased from JP. It arrived in pristine condition, though the strings are already rusting. I went ahead and installed a new set of elixir optiweb 10s and also lowered the string height (as the default height is too damn high for some reason). Everything is good aside from the G string not sustaining properly only for the 12th fret onwards vs the other strings. I even tried increasing the string height to rule it out but its still the same issue. What could be the issue here? Thank you
