X2N bridge and Evolution neck. Absolutely massive improvement..like the difference between holding a bottle rocket or a roman candle
Im planning on changing my fixed bridge chrome to a black one to black out my guitar, but im kinda struggling on what bridge to buy because of its offset string holes
if anyone could recommend me one thats not over 30$ that would be great !! This is a grg121sp with a f106 bridge on it
Saw this on fb marketplace for £1000
I know these are pretty hard to come by is it worth haggling the price down due to the damage on the horn
She sounds beautiful and I got her for a steal.
I always see the vampire, black and usual colors. Never seen this
Currently waiting for my new neck to arrive on my parts Ibanez. This neck is maple fretboard, black dots and I have a Gotoh GE1996T that’s going in it. The trem is black chrome, the tuners on the neck are worn / aged black chrome. New Pickguard is black, new bridge pickup is white and I’m removing the sustainiac. Do I swap the tuners + bridge for black along with anything else I can, or keep the black chrome trem, black / chrome screws and use my chrome locking tuners I have on hand?
And sometimes you need 2 humbuckers, then there’s the times when you really need 3 humbuckers

Good afternoon,
I wanted some feedback and thoughts from you all on J custom guitars. I am US based and have one I can grab locally (RG 8520 GE) for around $2,200. I’ve owned a number of prestige, premium, and normal ibbys. But I’ve never played or owned a J custom.
How are they? Are they worth the price jump? How do we feel about the price of this one? How well do they resell if I absolutely hate it a month from now? Are they truly an upgrade on the player experience or is this more an aesthetic upgrade like getting a ten top PRS? Thanks!
I picked up this S-series from a guy on Facebook Marketplace. It was $450 with the original hard case. It's pretty immaculate, the plastic is still on the truss rod cover.
Based on the serial number it was built in Dec 2006.
Judging by the colors (plural) and fret dots it is a 2007 model. I don't know how that system works. Cars in the U.S. (not sure about other places) start the new model year a few months before the end of the calendar year. The guy I bought it from got it new and says that is from the factory, and that everything is original to include the locking nuts. Nice!
So my question is does anyone know anything about why the headstock is mismatched?
Was this mismatch a relatively common thing during the end of year transition to the new year?
Using the catalogs form those years, the body has to be Blue Moon Burst, and the headstock appears to be Transparent Lavender Burst. Both 2007 colors. It is very pretty.
Regardless, I love it. Great playing guitar. The Zero Friction tremolo is interesting, and is much easier to tune than the FR on the Fernandez I picked up Japan back in 1998.
Update: it's fixed guys, and it ripss thanks for all the helpfull comments🤘🫶
Sustain kinda sucks but that's what I get for tuning a set of .09s to D standard.
Long story short, someone is selling a Talman body and neck and it looks like an interesting project, but something seems off. At first glance, it looks like a TV650 - white body, top edge binding, two-point bridge, the routing looks like what was typical of these... and I have one, so I'm familiar with the specs.
https://ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/TV650
However, one of the neck bolts looks way too close to the edge by the heel. The TV650 also didn't have a maple fretboard like this one does. Also, the logo is in mother-of-pearl, and pretty much every Talman had a black or gold metallic ink decal.
It doesn't seem to me like there's much of a market for a "Chibanez" version of a Talman model that was released thirty years ago, so what am I looking at? A prototype? A body with a neck build? A factory reject out of FujiGen?
This is an AZ2402L, iirc it only ran in this color for one year
I gave it some EMGs, the original pickups were a pair of INF 1 and 2s
With a $2000 budget maybe $2500, what 6 string Ibanez would be worth looking into? I play blues, some jazz, and looking for a heavier deep sound with nice clear highs.
Played a number of the other Q series guitars at my local seller, this one caught my eye online and went for it. Incredibly comfy guitar to play, I'd even say more so than a Strandberg (for me, anyway).
