Seasonal Minigame Guides

Hey all,

Do we have any solid guides on how to do the seasonal games?

The only one I have had any luck whatsoever understanding is the winter game. And that took a week or two. I don’t know if I’m just approaching the game and its map incorrectly, or misinterpret the instructions but I’m having the absolute worst time with the summer and spring mini games.

I could knockout the winter one super quick now. But not the others. I’m hoping we have something in depth that explains them? I haven’t been able to find anything

Version 1.0.43 is live!

This is a huge update, and I'm very excited to finally have all 3 wings of the museum completed!

Important note for iOS:
Apple took almost 2 weeks to approve this update (usually takes 1-3 days). As such, Android and Steam are both fully released and should be automatically updated. iOS is at 2% rollout, and should be fully released by the end of the week. To get the update earlier on iOS, check the app store. Also, I'm not expecting any issues with the rollout, but if there are any issues... plans may change :)

Changes:

  • Add Honors (and platform achievements)
  • Add Auto-sync for mobile cloud saves
    • Must be on the same platform
    • Open a save on two devices to trigger
    • Auto-sync checks cloud on every app open for changes
  • Add inventory indicators for Writs, Tidekeeper, and Paddle
  • Show offering cores as locked instead of hidden
  • Fix bug with in-run legacy skill point reallocation
  • Fix Android widget resizing for some launchers
  • Fix shellfish sometimes missing from archives
  • Fix Cooked Shellfish only unlocking via Otto
  • Add some back button handling for Android
  • Account for auto-switch food in notifications
  • Fix Skeltony overwriting trader inventory
  • Rare Items box includes gem chances
  • Add Oregon tide forecasts to settings
  • Add chest rewards to production log
  • Offerings now offer up to the limit
  • Fix trade screen bulk select lag
  • Improve shader performance
  • Update settings screen UI
  • Improve oil use indicator
  • UI fixes for wide layouts
  • Translation fixes

PC Specific Changes:

  • Reconfigure bottom bar labels to use less space
  • Support MAXI mode on narrower screens
  • Free player max offline time => 10 hours
  • Add Quit Game button to Settings menu
  • Reduce Mac download size by a lot

Journal Entries in honors not completed

It keeps saying I have not completed all journal entries, but I have. What am I missing?

Can anyone let me know what I am missing?

I have almost completed these sections of the archives but I cannot figure out what these last few are. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did my 3rd run in less than 8 days!

I decided to go all in for the tidekeeper with 3 black pearls on the first run and it paid off! I still don't have Newton, though. Can you get him by farming oil potions?

Book of Mastery Vs Tidekeeper

I just got the second one. I know you can get black pearls to use in it, but they're very rare. I know how to get the first one, but it's still too early for that in my game; I haven't reached my first legacy yet. But I'd like to know which of the two options would be better as an inheritance: the Book of Master (Complete) or the Tidekeeper (assuming I get 3 black pearls). Another option I thought of is using the first one in some legacies and getting the pearls in a later legacy, and then swapping one for the other, but I want to find out more first.

Help to improve my combat equipment

As the title indicates, I'm looking for advice on what items I could get to have better combat equipment. I know the King's Claws are popular, but my combat level is 76, and I don't yet have access to the area where they are obtained. I also have a screenshot of all my equipment.

I imagine Ocean Gloves are a better option for an ocean bonus than enchanting the sword, it's just that I just got those gloves and haven't made the change yet.

Edit: I also have the oar from the summer event, but I don't think it's important beyond fighting golems for the extra enchanting experience.
