Suggest some under 3.5k

Suggest me some good sounding iems. No gaming and all just for music. Hip hops, film songs etc..

3.5k budget includes dac also. It's my first experience.

Planning to buy Tanchim bunny need opinions

I'm planning to buy the Tanchjim Bunny DSP, but the price has increased by around ₹300 from what it used to be. I remember seeing it for around ₹2300, and now it's around ₹2600.

Is there any way to get it closer to the old ₹2300 price, or should I wait for a sale?

My maximum budget is ₹2500, and I need Type-C because I want to use the IEM directly with my phone as well.

I'm also considering getting a 3.5mm IEM + USB-C DAC instead, if that gives significantly better sound quality within ₹2500. But I'm not sure whether it's worth sacrificing the convenience of a built-in Type-C DSP.

Should I wait for the Bunny to come back to ₹2300, or just buy another IEM now?

P.S. Used AI for better formatting 😅

Update on my previous post about TANCHJIM BUNNY DSP's cable issue.

Previous Post Link : https://www.reddit.com/r/Iemkerala/s/h2N6O9lkU1

So after i got my IEMs back from ConceptKart saying it's the cable's issue that the right iem is not working, i swapped the the iems from left to right and right to left and still the issue remained. I genuinely thought that it's was iem's issue. That's why i posted "ConceptKart cancelled my warranty claim on my iem"(previous post)

But after sometime i remembered that, my friend got a Moondrop chu 2 3.5mm version. Then i went to him and connected moondrop chu 2's cable and then both right and left iems where working properly. So IT WAS THE CABLE'S ISSUE ALL ALONG😭

so now i'm thinking to buy a new tanchjim bunny dsp cable. But i'm confused to buy from which website.

THE AUDIO STORE or CONCEPTKART itself?

Cuz i'm actually kinda scared to buy anything from ConceptKart and after hearing countless problems about conceptkart from other people too

The price is same in both websites. So from where should i buy the new cable from? Also I can't find anything on the cable warranty if i buy a new cable. Can y'all help me with this?

I want to know your opinion on IEM's from Concept Kart

I’m planning to buy the CCA Phoenix IEM from Concept Kart.

If you’ve bought from Concept Kart before:

How has your experience been overall?

Have you ever faced issues with replacements, warranty claims, or general customer support?

Also, if I place an order using Cash on Delivery (COD) and end up wanting to cancel before it dispatches, is their cancellation process hassle-free?

Hifigo sale

Some great deals starting tomorrow (17/08/2026) from the Hifigo Aliexpress store - they are running a Back to School sale. My recommendation would be the Aful Explorer at over 20% off - already a great IEM at full price and a steal at under a hundred USD.

AFUL Explorer 1DD+2BA Hybrid In-Ear Headphones

There are other IEMs on sale also, if you like dark, bass orientated warmth then 15% off the Juzear Fiesta is your best bet. I have been listening to this set lately and they have made me re-consider whether I like bassy warmth or trebly clarity which sometimes gets sibilant for me.

There are lots more bargains on IEMs, DACs, cables and tips also.

I think these discounts alongside Aliexpress prices will outweigh the new EU tariffs although I haven't ordered anything lately - let me know if you have, I am interested in what they add up to at checkout...

Need help choosing the best IEM under ₹3,000

I'm looking for my first IEM and have a hard budget of ₹3,000, so I'm trying to make the best possible choice and avoid upgrading again too soon.

My three main priorities are:

🎵 Good sound quality – I mostly listen to calm/soothing music, but also enjoy hip hop, rock, and bass-heavy songs sometimes. I’d like something balanced but still fun when needed.

🎮 Competitive gaming – Mainly Valorant and PUBG and story games sometimes.

🎤 Good microphone – I need a decent mic for Discord/in-game voice chat. Detachable or inline mic is fine, as long as voice clarity is good.

I'll be using it with my Samsung S23 FE, laptop, and PC. USB-C would be convenient since my phone doesn't have a headphone jack, but I’m also open to using a dongle or adapter if it improves sound quality.

What would you recommend under ₹3,000 for these priorities?

Would especially appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used the product they're suggesting.

New iem recommendation

Current gear: Mangird Tea Pro, S12 Pro, HE400SE, Aune AR5000, FiiO K11 R2R.

Priorities:
• Natural timbre & coherency
• Resolving but non-fatiguing
• Good imaging, layering & stage depth
• Textured, controlled bass
• Engaging dynamics
• Comfortable for long sessions
• Versatile across vocals, Indian classical, OSTs, ambient, rock & pop
I’m not chasing a specific tuning. I want something that feels genuinely special, whether through technical performance, unique tuning or pure musicality.
Older flagships, discontinued models & hidden gems welcome.
What would you recommend? 🔥

Commuting set-up

S24 Ultra, Muse Hifi M3 Ultra Tube DAC, Pula Arc.

Saves me risking my expensive IEMs on my commute to work- it's crowded on my train.

The M3 Ultra gives this budget set a shot in the arm, loving how they sound together.
I got both of these from Hifigo.com

I need tips on how to fix a DAC to the back of your phone without sticking velcro tape to it?

I haven't figured that out yet.

Need help with packing an IEM for return

I’m planning to send my TANCHJIM Bunny DSP IEM back for a replacement/return because the right earpiece has noticeably lower volume than the left one.

This is my first time sending something like this through courier, so I’m not really sure how I should pack the IEM properly.

Can someone explain how I should pack it safely for shipping? If anyone has a reference photo showing how you packed an IEM for return, I’d really appreciate it.

First iem purchase advice

Hey everyone,I am looking to buy my very first IEM. It's actually a Raksha Bandhan gift from my sister, so I want to stick to a sensible budget (around ₹2,000) and absolutely do not want her to overspend on unnecessary gimmicks.

My Main Use Case:

Online Video Lectures: Listening to professors at home with background noise.

Single-Ear Wearing Style: I plan to wear only one earbud at a time while studying so I can still hear my family if they call out to me.

Environment:

Will use them mostly at home and sometimes in a quiet library.

What I am Looking For:

Comfort: Since I'll use only one earbud for 3-hour long lecture stretches, it needs to be lightweight and not slip out or cause ear fatigue.

Durability: Needs to survive a library backpack without the connector pins breaking easily.

Options I am considering right now:

Headphone Zone x Tangzu Wan'er S.G 2 (Brand New for ~₹2,299) - Heard it's amazing for vocals/comfort and has a better flat 2-pin connector than the original version.

CCA Phoenix (Brand New for ~₹2,178) - The metal build looks very premium and durable for the price, but I'm worried the metal weight might make single-ear wearing .

Which of these would be the smartest, most practical buy for a student? Are there any other hidden gems under ₹2k that fit a single-ear lecture use case better? Thanks in advance for the help!

Best for music and movies? or overall

i already have a supermix 4 for gaming. which is wonderful. But what do you recommend a great one within the budget of 100 - 300 usd. The possible end game iems that you can suggest. or at least if you buy that iem. an iem that you that has the 90 to 95% performance of a 500 usd to 1000 usd upwards. you know the law of diminishing return and your just paying for the refinement.

please suggest

Huge difference in laptop and phone!

Hey i have a tangzu waner sg 2 red lion and I've been using it for 2 months in my phone with a jcally jm12 dac and tbh i couldn't get the expected sound quality from it ( first time iem user). And recently i tried it on my laptop without the dac and it was soo better than my phone ( i was like yeah now this must be the iem quality everyone talking about)🤧. I didn't buy the type c version because i saw ppl saying 3.5mm with a dac is better but idk why I'm not getting laptop quality in phone

If there is a solution please care to help

Thank you for reading.

[FS] OnePlus Buds 4 (Zen Green) - 11 months old, barely used

Selling my OnePlus Buds 4 in Zen Green. Bought in August 2025, barely used since — bass-heavy tuning wasn’t for me, and I mostly stick to IEMs and wired earphones anyway.

Condition: Excellent, like-new. Minimal usage, no visible wear.

Includes: Earbuds, charging case, box, cable

Price: original MRP was ₹6,499, i paid ₹5,499 after discount. So Final ask is 4000 (includes shipping)

Location: Delhi

Reason for selling: Prefer IEMs/wired earphones for critical listening; these don’t get used enough to justify keeping them.

Looking for Good Quality Budget IEMs

Hey all. I’ve recently been looking to get myself a high quality portable music setup to replace my now broken iPod nano 4th gen after about a decade of using it. I settled on a HIFI Walker H2 for the DAP (or rather its identical counterpart, the Aigo Eros Q), so I’m moving onto looking for some IEMs that will play well with it. I already own some KZ ZSN Pros which I already enjoy using, however I wanted to see if I could find an upgrade in the £20-£30 price range (~$27-~$40).

I don’t have any particular preference for sound profile as I’m not much of an audiophile, however I do value faithfulness to the artist’s intentions when listening to music. Another thing I would really like is for the IEMs to come with a braided cable. As I mentioned before, I already own some ZSN Pros which I do like, although my own main issue with them is their plastic cable which I would much prefer to be braided. Finally, please note that I’d like this setup to last a good 5 years if possible. It was a miracle my iPod nano 4 lasted 10, but I’m not the sort to want to replace my stuff constantly, so it’d be great if I could get this setup to hold out for a decent for years too. Thanks to anyone who responds in advance

HIDIZS AP30 MUSIC BOY REVIEW

Check out my full review of the AP30 here:  https://mobileaudiophile.com/daps/hidizs-ap30-music-boy-review/

HIDIZS AP30 MUSIC BOY REVIEW

Hello, I just wanted to share with you all my full review of the Hidizs AP30 Music Boy which is an entry level dap from the audio brand Hidizs. The AP30 is definitely a high performer for a budget caliber dap. Built to mimic the design of a Game Boy from back in the day and designed to “appear” to function similarly. Hence the name “Music Boy”. Honestly, for the cost you are getting a fully functional, fully hi-res dap which is built very well, especially the aluminum version. There are obvious limitations with a dap in this price range which we should all expect. However, what has endeared me to the charm of this little device has nothing to do with features. Rather, in its form factor, its size, the design, how convenient it is, and most importantly because it actually sounds better than most any dongle dac in its range and sports a very easy and intuitive “push button” style screen (non-touchscreen). In my review I touch on the limited features, but I also explain the AP30 from every angle that I could think of during the review process. I hope it helps.

If you'd like to click the link and learn a bit more about the AP30 Music Boy then feel free. If not then that's okay too, just have a good one. Take care everyone.

🔥 AP30 Pros 🔥

-Price-to-performance

-Build Quality is nice, especially the all-aluminum version

-Volume wheel with 100-step volume accuracy

-Love the design/aesthetic of the AP30. Made to mimic the design of an old school Game Boy

-Small, compact form factor which is convenient and easy to carry

-Great accessory haul for the cost

-Magnetic Magsafe case

-Battery life

-This thing has Tetris on it folks!

-Smooth functionality and UI. It may be bare bones, but it's very fluid in usage

-Low noise floor

-Nicely balanced sound influence, very clean, nice dynamic energy

-Pairs well with many different iems which is great for the cost

-Can drive most any iem efficiently and with good dynamism

😔 AP30 Cons ☹️

-I hate to say this but there are obvious limitations with the software (to be expected from every dap at this range)

-No wifi or streaming, all local files

-Bluetooth is limited to SBC codec

-Micro SD support is limited to 256 GB

-Best to use with iems as max output is around 137 mW on 4.4 balanced

-No touch display, all button controlled (actually very well done)

-Not the most colorful sound

-No gapless playback
