Being out in the general public, malls , movie theaters etc makes you realize how fucking sick and horrible everyone looks.

This is not some “I’m good looking and other people are ugly” post, as I dont mean facial structure , but so so many people are not just overweight but sick looking.

Corporations and government truly have done such a good job of making us sick, fat, and weak and it’s sad as fuck.

As the title says, Ive been sick for 2 months.
I have always had a pretty shit immune system but I’ve always had it good enough to come right within a few days. This time, nope.

It’s gotten to the point where Ive coughed up blood several times on random occasions, my stomach is in agony every time I cough, when I cough it feels like my sinuses and throat are coughing up needles, shortness of breath, I’ve visited a hospital, taken ibuprofen but it made me severely constipated i ended up with a hemorrhoid and woke my partner up crying to him that I needed laxatives 🥲👍 (he helped me with these iced fruits).

I get fevers, hot and cold flushes, muscle pains, dissociate. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I lost one of my jobs due to it, and I’ve had so much time off my studying to sit sick in bed. It’s never been this bad, I know for a fact it’s not covid (negative test) but I also know it’s not a cold. There are even public workers (e.g drive thru workers) wearing masks again as if another covid strain has come out.

The worst thing is, it just feels like it’s getting worse everyday

Everyone I know is sick I’m still sick after two weeks. What’s going on? Doctors only say what they know. I reckon the Covid really buggered us

Speaking at the stage start in Voiron, Wellens suggested other riders within the team were unwell and revealed that he had a sore throat.

For the past week or so, I've had persistent sinus pressure and a dry, stuffy nose. Otherwise, I am completely functional and feel fine enough, but I can't kick these symptoms. Nothing changes if I spend more or less time outdoors, either, so I'm not certain that it's allergies.

Does anyone else have this? Is something going around? If so, can y'all leave me out of it next time?

Went to a family gathering recently, and after our toddler had been playing with other toddlers and sharing toys like toddlers do, I noticed two of the children had full-body rashes. I asked the parent what was going on and was told they had both had fevers for a couple of days that had just broken the day before and then the rash appeared.

At that point we kept our little one away from them and sanitized her hands, but I immediately had a bad feeling. Before the gathering even ended, one of the kids spiked another fever.

The next day I heard one of the children had been taken to the ER because of their eye swelling , so I asked what they were diagnosed with. I never really got a clear answer and was eventually told it was “just an allergic reaction.” That didn’t sit right with me considering they had a fever first.

A couple of days later our toddler developed a fever, followed by a rash. She ended up being diagnosed with hand, foot, and mouth disease.

Maybe I’m overreacting, but if your child has had a fever for days and suddenly develops a rash, why bring them around other children before you know what’s going on? And if you’re told it’s an allergic reaction, how does that explain the fever?

I’m mostly frustrated because this whole thing could have been avoided.

They sent their toddlers to daycare like that too and they were sent home.

Two months into preschool and I feel like I'm running a 24/7 clinic. My daughter catches something, gets better for two days max and then comes home with the next plague. The runny noses and coughs are constant and last week I had to skip a major presentation at work because of her fever. I need some real talk from other parents. Is this just how it is at the beginning? Did your kids eventually stop bringing home every germ in the building or was the whole first year a total washout? How are you handling it because I feel like I’ve tried everything and no results.

Is everyone and their dog/cat/reptile pet sick at the moment because I swear I've just had 2 months of back to back illnesses with breaks in between of feeling semi human. One of the illnesses even required antibiotics which I haven't had in over a decade.

Is this sniffle season particularly bad or have I just gotten unlucky in my germ exposure?

I was congested for a few days and had no sore throat and no body aches, so I assumed that I was struggling with allergies or effects from the wildfire smoke. Last night, I suddenly developed a low grade fever that has persisted into today. I stayed home.

I will test for covid tomorrow.

Is anyone else sick? I hadn't heard of anyone I knew being sick until earlier in the day yesterday before I had a fever. It was very sudden.

Anybody with the flu right now? Specifically B? How long does this misery last? Not me but a family member.

Wife and I have been sick for a week and a half with sore throat, phlegm, cough, low fever and achiness/fatigue.

Ok. It’s not Covid or the flu according to a test I got from Freddie’s.
Has there been something going around Thats causing fatigue, congestion headaches and just generally feeling like poop?

My wife tested positive for influenza A last week. It started with a sore throat, and she's still dealing with a lingering cough.

Now I've been sick for the past five days with a fever, a completely stuffed-up nose, and coughing up a ton of mucus.

On top of that, several people at my office have been sick for days too, so it definitely feels like something is making the rounds.

Anyone else dealing with this right now, or with something else?

I have body aches, sore tongue and lethargy. It's awful. I did rapid tests at home and not COVID or Flu.

Hey everyone! I never get sick in the summer, so I’m curious if there’s something going around right now. I’ve got a super stuffy nose, congestion, and it just feels like a pretty typical cold. It’s just weird because if I get sick, it’s almost always in the fall or winter, never when it’s this hot out. Anyone else dealing with the same thing? Thankfully it’s just congestion and not a stomach bug. 😅

we are only a few weeks into the school year and i feel like my kindergartener has been sick more days than he's been healthy. we've already cycled through a brutal stomach bug, a cold that turned into an ear infection, and now he woke up this morning with a fresh fever and a cough.

he didn't go to daycare before this so i knew his immune system would take a hit, but i wasn't prepared for it to be this constant. i'm already burning through all my sick leave at work and it feels like the exact second he recovers from one thing, he brings home something new the next day.

does it always tank this badly during the kindergarten year?
