[hiring] stylized landscape art concert poster// $500 budget

Looking for someone to create a concert poster with Florida Everglades (trees, gators, spoonbills kinda thing) in the foreground with Joshua tree vibes in the background.

Inspo for the project is the painted wasteland vibes of Tim Molloy, poster art of Welker, somewhat bizarre trippy fun but still “readable”.

Deadline is October 1. Can provide more details in DM (project is a surprise/gift) pending the right fit.

Priority to pen and ink/ watercolor/ physical mediums. Looking to create a keepsake. Will consider all, but if you have those in your portfolio pls share!! Ty :)

Tiki Drinks

I am a huge fan of classic tiki drink menus, and was wondering if anyone is still doing drawings like they were in the ‘50’s or ‘60’s ? Would love to do up a small menu of 3-5 drinks like this for my own home tiki bar. Right now my budget is about $100-150, but I’m flexible for the right artist.

Update: thank you all for your interest. I’ve found an artist to work with at this time.

PAID seeking digital artist for Drew Struzan style short film poster

Hello everyone!

I’m looking to hire an artist for a paid commission to create the key art for our nearly completed independent sci-fi short.

The project is heavily inspired by the sci-fi/blockbuster films of the late ’70s and early ’80s, and we’re looking for someone who can capture that classic painted movie-poster aesthetic popularized by artists like Drew Struzan.

If this sounds like the kind of work you do, I’d love to see your portfolio, rates, and typical turnaround time! Physical or digital artists are both welcome.

Budget is negotiable depending on the scope and level of work, with a baseline of around $200–$300.

Recommendations are very welcome as well!

Feel free to DM me here or on Instagram: @SamKoehler123
Thanks!

Illustrator/Graphic Designer for Clothing Brand – Apparel Designs

Hi! I’m looking for an illustrator/graphic designer to work with me on a clothing brand I’m developing.

These illustrations will primarily be used for screen-printed T-shirts, so experience designing for apparel or screen printing would be a big plus.

I have a concept/mood board with the direction that I am shooting for.

For example, I’m looking for:

Folk, rustic, etc. I do have a few designs that I would like to recreate if possible. I will discuss more about the brand and the full direction that I want to go with the right person.

I’d initially like to commission 3–5 shirt designs, with the possibility of ongoing work if we’re a good fit.

BUDGET: My budget is around $150 per design. However, I’m open depending on experience and scope. I’d rather find the right artist and discuss pricing than choose solely based on the lowest quote.

If this sounds like your style or something you may be able to do, please comment or DM me with:
your portfolio, your typical rate per apparel design, and your availability.

PAID ILLUSTRATOR WANTED — BOOK PROJECT

I’m looking for an illustrator for a paid freelance book project.

Budget: $40–$50 per completed illustration, with approximately 10–12 illustrations planned ($400–$600 total). This is an indie project with a limited budget, so emerging artists and art students are welcome to apply.

The novel explores mature/adult themes, but the artwork will be primarily symbolic. I have general concepts and ideas for each piece, but I want to work with an artist who can bring their own creativity and interpretation to them. There will be some artistic freedom within the overall vision of the art.

ART STYLE

I’m looking for a style that is:

  • Dark/horror influenced
  • Realistic
  • Sharp linework and intense shading
  • Atmospheric and emotionally expressive
  • Primarily hand-drawn and professionally scanned/digitized (I like when it looks like graphite)

I’m especially interested in an artist who is good at visual symbolism. Someone who can take an emotion, theme, event, or idea and turn it into imagery that feels unsettling, meaningful, and connected to the story without illustrating everything literally. Similar-ish to It's All In Your Head by Shawn Coss

PROJECT SCOPE

  • Approximately 10–12 interior illustrations (10.85cm x 16.25cm)
  • General concepts/references will be provided for each piece
  • Creative interpretation is encouraged for some
  • Some revisions may be needed as we develop the final pieces
  • Final artwork will need to be provided in high-resolution, publication-ready digital files

If interested, please send:

  • Your portfolio or examples of relevant work
  • Examples of traditional/hand-drawn work, if available
  • Your rates or an estimated price range for a project of this size
  • Your typical turnaround time
  • Your preferred contact information
