I remote started my car and when i got into my car and it was surging at idle and dropping. It had been running on 97 for over 10 years and now its on e85 could it just be the computer being weird because its not used to e85?? Any ideas or thoughts will help.
I have some serious sag on my ride do any of you have recommendations on springs for the rear that will raise it a bit higher than original stock height?
My front end is sitting higher than factory due to an LS swap and needing clearance for the oil pan.
So I recently replaced my suspension on my 12 impala .
front lower control arms
front inner / outer tie rods
front/ rear struts
rear sway bar links
the tires are on 18 rims and the first set of struts were 16 , well got another set (universal 17) allegedly
the issue I seem to keep facing is the inside of my tire scrubbing the spring plate, I cannot seem to find 18 assembled struts.
nor can I afford to go get another set .
is there anyway I can put some space between my tire and spring plate . what other part could be needed to fix this or what else could be causing this to happen?
my alignment didn’t fix anything but it was the wrong size strut
well my sway link bolt busted on pass side upon replacement of the strut,
haven’t gotten another alignment because I tried to get the caster and camber as it was after my alignment but I’m not sure what else to do and evidently my pockets are not that deep. SAHM LOL
Im going to replace my front and rear roters and break pads on my 2012 impala ltz im looking to find a kit with stronger break power than stock. Im open to all recommendations.

I have a 2013 Impala lt with the 3.6 in it and I've been looking into getting coilovers to put on it because the suspension is a little too soft for my liking, what budget coilovers have y'all found that work best?
Should i buy floor jack pinch weld adapters and jack from the pinch welds, or does anywhere in these pictures look like good safe alternative life points?
The manual only states the lift points for the manufacturer scissor jack which are the pinch welds.

Looking for lighter wheels for the front, going to put nice street tires on them to run during cruises. Ive heard that one of the stock Pontiac wheels are lightest from factory. Open to aftermarket options as well
Just bought a 08 impala ss. Im wanting to slightly lower it to give it a better stance and more aggressive look. Can anyone give advice on which to use? I've seen good and bad with both. Just don't want to have to buy twice. Not afraid to spend either. Thanks
Long story short I was driving on the highway for about an hour & got that message on my dash .. she was able to get me home but could tell it was struggling to get above 85 ( limp mode I’m sure) didn’t drive for a few days & everything was back to normal even for an extended drive .. how worried should I be about it ? Or could it be a one time thing ? If so anything I should be looking out for ?
