Chris Senn has departed the FAA for Greenberg Traurig. He was the agency’s assistant administrator for government and industry affairs.

According to the email by Chris Senn, FAA’s assistant administrator for government and industry affairs, obtained by POLITICO, the Army Black Hawk helicopter “took a scenic route around the Pentagon versus proceeding directly from the west to the heliport.”

Who writes policies for the FAA?

FAA modernization has become a career path for policymakers, consultants, and contractors.

For CPCs, it has meant more traffic, more overtime, more responsibility, and pay bands that have not kept up.

It’s time to fix ATC compensation.

If Congress thinks frozen pay since 2009 is a big enough problem to justify stock trading, then they should understand exactly what air traffic controllers have been saying.

We don’t get insider information.
We don’t get market influence.
We don’t get to profit from policy decisions.

We get more stress, more overtime, worsening staffing, and outdated pay bands.

It’s time to fix ATC compensation.
