I'm at loop 13 and have killed the king twice, but something keeps bugging me and its driving me crazy

DID SIFFRIN'S EXPRESSION CHANGE AFTER I KILLED THE KING???, I SWEAR he had a more happy look in his profile, jackpot sprite, battle sprite, and some cutscenes.

Hi! "In stars And Time" has been on my wishlist for awhile, but I haven't had the time or money for it yet. However "Start Again: a prologue" was on a crazy good sell so I snatched it up.

Now, I'm not the smartest bulb in the box but I know that the prologue comes first, but I also know indi rpgs can be kinda weird in terms of story and how to Play them, ect.

So I'm worried that I might ruin or dull my experience with the main game if I play the prologue first.

Can I get any, non spoilery, advice please :(

Ive been trying everything i can come up with to try and ask the king where is he from do i just give up atp
