Anyone know any tips?
I just got them off the sprite sheets and made sure they were aligned as they appear in game. These are all Act 1 (and with the white outline) but if you want different acts/versions just ask and I'll add them to the post!
all have functioning eyes (or atleast one functioning eye, sif) :3
wanted to post them on some things because once i hit the mii limit of 70... i might kill some folks here, because unfortunately they don't offer alot of fun writing potential as some other ideal mii candidates.
if anyones interested in their mii schematics, ill likely end up postinf them on the tomo-share website too
So I got into the game a couple days ago and I’m COMPLETELY hyper fixated, I also love plushies. So I’m heartbroken that everyone’s sold out. Can I expect a restock or is there anyone reselling or am I HOPELESS
ISAT is really about building the characters up and having you really attached to them. The game goes deep into unraveling its characters and their personalities making you attached to them in a very indeering way.
The quirkiness of the game and its lighthearted tone disappears in Act 5. And even though I knew that at some point I would have to go through the house alone I did not anticipate the fights Siffring has with his family members and when I watched the cut scenes it was in an uneasy feeling of everything that Siffring holds dear falling apart. This feeling of being rejected by those who you though are your friends is so deeply traumatizing no wonder what happens in Act 5 in a house feels so surreal.
I think what game makes you experience in a house in ACT 5 is a very good way of conveying the feeling of going insane. Seeing ghosts, rooms being mirrored and long corridors and same doors leading to a different places items being not where they need to be. All that adds up to create a very convincing and real experience of losing the ground.
Ironically I believe this surreal experience is pretty unique for that particular way.
Ironically this is the part of the game which I relate to the most. The sense of losing the ground and connections to something you hold dear is very unsettling and very familiar. I really sympathize with Siffring because at the end of the day Siffring haven’t done their friends wrong in a significant way. He was more distressed than flawed in my opinion.
That’s why I was really happy for him when he broke the loop and got his happy ending.
What are your thoughts on Act 5? What part of it resonated with you the most?
*Here’s a little drawing of how the gameplay of Act 5 felt for me
They have a child already. They moved very fast.
I’m so cooked, first image is what was supposed to happen while the second one is what I got
I'm trying to isolate some sprites from the files but absolutely no video/still I can find has the party all running (to the right) at the native resolution. I just want to check I've lined up all the pixels correctly I'm fighting for my life here /lh
A screenshot is all I need but video would be absolutely stellar if it’s easy enough to get. I can also post anything I compile because I noticed not all the sprites are on the wiki
I'd do it myself but I don't have a save because I played the entire game on my partner's playstation at their house asgjasdfkgkhjadfhk
I’m sorry she’s just so cute
Obviously no spoilers like "what did you think of x death or y important event", so I am asking for y'all to walk a fine line here I suppose, but you've seen these types of posts before. Ask me questions about the game, it's characters or events and I'll answer them with all the wisdom and knowledge I can bestow as someone who doesn't even know what genre the game is.
Small edit for any future comments, please dont comment responding to my answers with things like "yeah, that's true", or "you're not far off". I plan to play the game soon and I wanna go in blind to the truth of the game, so ask questions, but don't tell me how close or far I am. You can still answer with more questions though, or ask me my reasoning, but please don't clue me in on how close or far my answers are. Thanks a million!
Ngl I think Siffrin is a pretty good candidate to "protagonist who would get the most fucked if they were in Gameoverse".
Monochrome Timeloops for the win!
(The Witch Princess from Slay the Princess btw)
