Lloyd 2 Ton 5 Star AC - Worth Buying?

Hey, I need a 2 ton AC for my ~210 sq ft hall.

Around April, I almost bought the 2025 Daikin 1.8 ton, but the stock got sold out at the last minute. The 1.8 ton 5-star variant wasn’t available until end of May, but I still waited. In May the store has quoted ₹68k for it, without installation/other charges, whereas earlier I was quoted ₹57k for 2025 variant.

Now in the Great Indian Sale, I’m looking at a Lloyd 2 ton 5-star for around ₹50k(after card discounts)+ ₹3–4k max for installation etc. It has around 6000W cooling capacity, similar to the Daikin 2026 model I checked.

I’m strict on 5-star only because our house already consumes a lot of electricity even with existing AC, so I don’t want to risk going for a 3-star.

I asked for the Daikin quote again today and was told ~₹70k without additional charges, so there’s almost a ₹15–20k difference.

So I’m leaning towards Lloyd now.My main priorities are good/fast cooling, lower electricity bills and reliable after-sales service.

How are Lloyd ACs in these areas? Would you guys go for the Lloyd at ~₹50k or spend the extra for Daikin?
Would especially like to hear from people who have actually used Lloyd ACs for 2–3+ years.
