We are looking for a full-time Social Media Designer and Video Editor to work remotely with us on content for a group of jewellery-related businesses based in Surat.

The most important requirement is prior hands-on experience creating social media content specifically for a jewellery, diamond, or gemstone brand.

Role: Social Media Designer and Video Editor

Type: Full-time, work from home

Location: Open to candidates across India

Preference: Surat-based candidates are preferred, but this is not mandatory

Compensation: ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month

The starting salary will depend on your relevant experience, portfolio quality, editing skills, and overall expertise.

₹30,000 is the starting point for someone who meets the core requirements. Candidates with stronger jewellery-industry experience, stronger editing skills, and a better portfolio may be offered a higher starting salary within the range.

There is also room for the salary to increase further over time based on performance, quality of work, reliability, and contribution.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be creating content for four jewellery-related businesses covering:

• Fine, bridal, polki, and diamond jewellery

• Lab-grown diamond jewellery and manufacturing

• Modern 925 silver jewellery

• Corporate and bulk silver gifting

We already create content regularly, but we want to improve the overall quality significantly.

We are looking for someone who can help make the content feel polished, refined, high-quality, and visually consistent.

We will provide raw product photos, raw product videos, factory footage, talking-head footage, brand guidelines, and creative direction.

Your job will be to turn that raw material into finished content that looks strong and is ready to be used across our social media pages.

A regular part of the role will also involve editing videos featuring the director and other people from the companies.

This can include:

• Promotional videos

• Educational videos

• Product explanations

• Business updates

• Talking-head videos

• Factory footage

• Manufacturing footage

• Behind-the-scenes content

• Other short-form content

You should be comfortable taking longer or fairly raw footage and turning it into engaging short-form videos with good pacing, clean cuts, subtitles, text, music, transitions, and colour correction where needed.

CREATIVE FREEDOM

We are not looking for someone who only follows instructions step by step.

We would really value someone who brings their own creative eye and ideas to the work.

You will have freedom to decide how a Reel, carousel, static post, talking-head video, promotional video, or other piece of content should be edited and presented.

The main expectation is that the final result looks polished, refined, visually strong, and appropriate for the brand.

If you can look at raw footage or product photos and immediately start thinking about creative ways to make them more interesting and visually appealing, that is exactly the kind of person we are hoping to find.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

• Editing jewellery product photos and videos

• Creating Reels, carousels, static posts, and professional digital creatives

• Editing talking-head videos featuring the director and other people from the companies

• Editing promotional and educational videos

• Turning factory and manufacturing footage into engaging short-form content

• Handling cuts, pacing, transitions, subtitles, text overlays, music, and colour correction

• Creating content for product launches, festive and seasonal campaigns, offers, educational content, and brand storytelling

• Improving the overall quality and consistency of content across all four brands

• Bringing your own creative ideas while following the overall brand direction

• Helping maintain a regular posting schedule across all four brands

• Setting up and running basic paid social advertising campaigns

JEWELLERY EXPERIENCE

This is the most important requirement for the role.

You should already have experience creating social media content for a jewellery brand, diamond company, or gemstone company.

Please be ready to show examples of work you personally created.

Jewellery content requires a different approach compared with general social media design.

Things like diamond sparkle, reflections, close-up product details, metal tones, stone colours, lighting, and keeping the jewellery looking polished and visually accurate all matter.

We are hoping to find someone who already understands this through real work experience rather than someone who would be working with jewellery content for the first time.

Experience with fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or general graphic design is useful, but it does not replace the jewellery, diamond, or gemstone experience required for this particular role.

PAID SOCIAL ADVERTISING

Basic paid social advertising experience is also required.

You do not need to be an advanced specialist, but you should be comfortable with:

• Setting up ad campaigns

• Selecting audiences

• Choosing campaign objectives

• Adding creatives

• Managing basic budgets

• Checking campaign performance

This requirement is not as strict as the jewellery-content experience, but we do expect some genuine hands-on experience with paid campaigns.

LONG-TERM ROLE

We are also hoping to find someone who is genuinely looking for a stable, long-term position rather than something temporary for a month or two.

We have had short-term situations in the past, and it made maintaining consistency across the brands difficult.

This time we would really like to find the right person, build a good working relationship, and hopefully work together for the long term.
