Iran has hit back at US President Donald Trump after his "one-shot" threat against Iran's leadership, saying ideals cannot be destroyed even if people are killed. The exchange comes as Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's funeral ceremonies continue in Tehran.

Speaking to India Today's Geeta Mohan, she says flight delays and a long walk could not stop her from being present, adding, "We are not scared," as she spoke of unity and standing with Iran during the funeral ceremonies.

The US President held separate phone calls with Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, offering to help broker a political solution to the war ahead of the NATO summit in Turkey.

Zelenskyy said Trump reiterated his commitment to working towards a rapid end to the conflict.

Following the prayers, the coffins of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were transferred to continue the multi-city funeral procession ahead of the final burial in Mashhad.
