Is ₹22,000 fair for this used AM4 PC? Ryzen 5 5600G + B550M DS3H + 32GB G.Skill DDR4 3600

I'm considering buying a used PC.

Parts included:

  • Ryzen 5 5600G with amd stock cooler
  • Gigabyte B550M DS3H
  • G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (2×16GB) DDR4-3600 CL18
  • Cabinet
  • No SSD
  • No PSU (seller originally had a Gigabyte GP-P450B 450W, but I'm excluding it)

The PC is around 3 years old.

Seller has agreed to ₹22,000 without the PSU.

I will test the CPU, motherboard and both RAM sticks before paying.

Is ₹22k a good deal in the current Indian used market, or should I negotiate lower? What would you personally pay for this combination?

Also, I'm planning to add a dedicated GPU in ~2 months, probably something around an RX 6600/6700 XT or RTX 3060/3070 class, and will buy a new PSU separately.

Is the Price valid for this Pc setup??

It is my dream to setup a gaming pc.

I finally had some money to do it.

But as I am from a remote state, there arent any offline pc part store. So this is the quota from a store in West Bengal.

(I know I can also order online but that will be even more hassle).

My bugdet is 1 to 1.2 lakhs for a 2k gaming build 😭.

9060XT build at 1 lakh

I am building my first pc in mAtx case and would like to know if this build is good for its price or can I change some things which can reduce the cost. My overall budget was 70-80k but considering the risk of used gpu getting fried or getting damaged after months due to internal damage ( which I can't check while buying) so going with this build.

Parts:-

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 - 13,950rs

Motherboard:- Asus prime B550M-k ARGB- 6899rs

GPU: Rx 9060XT- 52k

PSU: Corsair CX650M SMPS-650 Watt 80+ bronze Semi Modular With Active PFC- 6349rs

Ram: Used 8gb×2 ddr4 - 7-8k

Ssd: Adata Xpg Gammix S60 1TB - 15389rs

Cabinet:- Lian Li A3 white - 7500rs

Monitor:- looking for a 1440p around 15k or less.

Total cost :- 1,26,000

Note:- will be purchasing gpu on emi from computech on 17% intrest rate for a tenure of 12 months -5k total intrest amount

Suggest changes to reduce price to near 1 lakh, fine with 1080p will later upgrade to 1440p a year later , all parts are from online.

Use case :- 1080 or 1440 gaming.

MDComputers sent me faulty RAM — how does ACRO RMA work?

I recently bought RAM from MDComputers, but the RAM turned out to be faulty. I sent it back to MDComputers for an RMA/warranty claim, but they denied my claim and said the RAM is working fine, even though I'm still having the same issues with it.

While looking for information about what I can do next, I came across some Reddit posts mentioning ACRO and their RMA/service process.

So I wanted to ask people who have dealt with ACRO before: how does the RMA process actually work?

I live in a small town in West Bengal, not in a metro city like Kolkata. If I need to make an RMA claim through ACRO, do they arrange pickup from my address, or would I have to ship the faulty RAM to them myself? Or would I actually need to travel to a service center?

Traveling to Kolkata for a warranty claim would be very difficult for me because I have a lot of work and responsibilities here that I can't really avoid or take time off from. So I'm hoping there's some kind of pickup or shipping option available for people who don't live near a service center.

If anyone here has dealt with ACRO for a RAM RMA, especially from a smaller town/city, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience and how the process worked for you.

Need build advice to lock the deal

This is going to be my first PC! So I am a Mechanical Engineering student whose main reason to build a pc is for productivity (Solidworks, Ansys, Catia, etc.)

I love playing games too, so I am trying to get a pc that can run games smoothly on 2k and the one that can last for 5-7 years. My main game preferences are Openworld, soulslike, and other story heavy games. I don't need crazy fps, 90-120 are more than enough for me.

These are the builds my local store suggested, **DW THE RAM IN THE RYZEN BUILD IS 16gb DDR5 5600MZ** It's a typo.

I've decided to go with RX 9060 XT because of the 16 gigs of VRAM it provides, although I'd love an Nvidia card, but a good one costs a fortune.

The thing I'm unsure about is the CPU, should I go with AMD for upgradability and low power consumption or should I go with intel for better single core performance during productivity. Ik this is the last Intel CPU for current socket but it's not like I'll have to change my CPU in a year, but Intel's current track record hasn't been so great either so idfk

Also, is the RAM and SSD good, I did look them up, they're not bad but some people have said they faced certian issues. So I'd like to get your advice.

Thanks for helping :)

Mobo died, replacements out of stock, replace with i5 14400 + mobo or Ryzen 5600 + mobo?

Mostly in title i have an i5 11400 and a b560 motherboard that died recently, can't find any replacements in stock with the usual trusted vendors, so i have come up with these forced "upgrades", I also have a RX 9060XT 16GB and play at 1440p, and i don't want to spend unnecessarily

Ryzen 5600 + MSI B550M Gaming Plus WIFI6E for 24k

i5 14400F + GIGABYTE B760M GAMING X DDR4 GEN5 for 33k

i5 14400 + same mobo above for 40k( would prefer integrated cpu for basic display incase my gpu dies, but 6k more is a lot )

Aside from these i want to upgrade my psu and case also, else would have gone for 7500x3d build
