PC build for gaming with 2.5L budget

PC build for gaming with 2.5L budget

I wanna build a setup that can last me for a long time within 2.5L. I mainly need it to play games and do my work, but I believe my work will not have any issues with a build like this. I have created this based on my own research, and am open to suggestions.

I couldn't find a B850 motherboard here idk why, but I was planning on getting the MSI MAG B850 tomahawk max. I would ideally like to go with a sapphire nitro+ gpu but 68k for the asrock one feels like a really good deal. I am somewhat against liquid coolers idk, just an opinion I've come to form. And I don't really know if my RAM choice is good but this was the cheapest cl30 I could find with EXPO support.

P.S. In the long run I'll end up playing only cs and valo, but I wanna enjoy some aaa titles for now since I never had a system that would support them with even decent performance.

Should I upgrade my 5 year old PC or build a bigger one / Will the price or stock availability of RTX 4060 go back to normal

My 5 year old pc build has Ryzen 5 3600 - a good budget processor & Nvidia GT 730 which is severely underperforming. This GPU is has ruined the potential of my entire build and Its time to put an end to this. Is it a better option to upgrade this setup ? I'm not sure about the longevity of components so if it's less than 10 years then i think it's better to build a new one instead of upgrading.

And the question about RTX 4060 from the title. It was in stock for 30K everywhere a couple months ago but now it's nowhere to be found.

Please share your wisdom in the comments !

I got the Samsung G5 1440p OLED Monitor for just ₹28,000 using a corporate discount. Here is my honest review on whether budget OLEDs are worth it.

Watch the full Video review here: https://youtu.be/HZiFWX26lHc

I recently picked up the Samsung G5 OLED (LS27FG502). Since Samsung runs these corporate discounts from time to time, I managed to snag it for about ₹28K, which makes it one of the absolute cheapest OLEDs.

I’ve been testing it out, and since a lot of people are looking to upgrade their setups this year, you may find this helpful in decision making.

How much is my Gigabyte RTX 3060 12GB OC worth with an intermittent hardware issue?

I have a Gigabyte RTX 3060 12GB Gaming OC (out of warranty) and I'm trying to figure out a fair selling price.

Condition:

  • Boots and gives display normally.
  • Drivers install fine.
  • Games usually run fine.
  • Passes stress tests most of the time, but randomly crashes around 1 out of every 5 stress test runs (or occasionally under heavy load).
  • Based on previous troubleshooting, I suspect it could be a VRM/power delivery issue, but it has not been professionally diagnosed, so I'm selling it as faulty/as-is.
  • I contacted the official Gigabyte service center, but since the card is out of warranty, they do not offer board-level repairs.

For context, around the same time my motherboard also failed, so I initially suspected a power-related issue, but I can't confirm whether the GPU problem is related.

What would be a fair asking price in India for a card in this condition? I'm looking for realistic estimates from people who've bought or sold repairable GPUs.

Can this build be cheaper?

TLDR: is there a way to fit the 5600gt on this budget?

I was planning a 60k build but due to certain events the budget is now 40k preferably below that. A few things before I post the build.

  1. The ssd is only a boot drive, I have an nvme I salvaged.

  2. I dont want to cheap out on the PSU.

  3. I dont need a GPU.

  4. feel free to suggest changes to the components.

Need help building a PC for a Friend in India who would like to run LLMs on it.

My friend in India wants to build a PC for running LLMs on it. He sent me this config that he looked at. Price unknown and budget is also unknown at the moment as I'm unaware of the Indian Market. But I can push him towards investing more if need requires.

Current config that he looked at:

  1. CPU — AMD Ryzen 9 9900X

  2. Motherboard — ASUS *ProArt X870E-Creator* WiFi

  3. RAM — G.Skill Ripjaws S5 64GB (2×32) DDR5-6000 CL36

  4. Cooler — Lian Li GA II Lite 360R ARGB

  5. PSU — Corsair RM1000E ATX 3.1 (1000W)

  6. Storage — WD Black SN7100 2TB NVMe

  7. Cabinet — Cooler Master Elite 681 ARGB Black

  8. GPU — ASUS Radeon AI PRO R9700 32GB

I wanna change the Ram from a CL36 to CL30. Get a Faster SSD, and I have no idea about this GPU. Would either recommend a 5080 series or a 9070 series. All other parts I'm Ok with.

Any advice is appreciated. He is in Hyderabad if this matters. Thanks guys.

Hopefully this will bring some relief to RAM prices.

Is 35k a valid asking price for this second hand pc?

Hey folks,

I want to buy a 2nd hand pc for my brother so that he can do video editing and some coding on it. He will also play games.
Came across this pc on FB marketplace. I want to know if 35k is a valid asking price for this pc.

Specs-

Amd Ryzen 5 3600
Gigabyte 1660 Super 6gb
Aorus B450 Motherboard
16gb Corsair 3200hz Ram
Corsair 550w Smps
250gb Kingston Ssd

I asked him if he had any proof to verify the age of the components but the seller said that he lost bills and boxes while shifting houses.

Is there any other way to find the age of components?

Your experience with Intel GPU?

I wanted to ask if anyone who used/is using the Intel arc graphics card, how has your experience been so far?

  1. did you face driver issue?

  2. compatability issue with software(especially old games)?

  3. any other notable things you might want to add.

Best pc build around 1.8-1.9 lakh.. with monitor and ups included

Guys help me build a good productity+gaming pc... i plan to play at 1440p..(Editing,streaming and youtube video creation) Am a student in final years of my college.

Cpu preference - Amd

I really wanted to get 32gb at this price but the current ram and ssd prices said HELL NO DAWGs

Will upgrade that to dual channel 32gb when the prices calms down 🫩

This the build i figured out myself, help me improvise it, Any suggestions would be very helpful ❤️

Also is buying from modx computers safe?? Have anyone purchased somthing from them pls share your experience if you can

I think they seem reliable from what I saw from venom tech's video lol

Edit- I live in a town near Gwalior(mp) it would be better to buy the whole setup from a single store tbh And also preferablely I was looking for a custom pre-built pc shipped to me, cuz I really don't know how to build it from scratch..

But am open to building it on my own too if I get the whole setup from a single store cuz that would avoid the stress of getting a bad product or having to check multiple schedule, multiple shipping payments etc....

Also some of you guys are suggesting me 9070, from what I know it's a great high end gaming card but i also mentioned those productivity tasks, simply this is not a pure gaming build so I put 5070 in their cuz of its expertise in codec etc for those apps...
