Getting eaten by the Stoorworm

Wednesday’s game saw my recently-painted Stoorworm being utterly terrifying.

In total it ate a Beasthunter, a random JSA line infantry, and most of two TAGs. 😱 Guard with a 16” ZoC and an EXP CCW (PS=-1) is quite a thing!

Notable moments included:

  • The JSA LI moving into range and LoF, and realising that no saving rolls were possible, and instantly dying.
  • The Beasthunter ineffectually firing salvos of Panzerfaust shots at the Megabeast, then trying CC with B4 and getting three hits (all saved), then trying CC again and getting beaten, and elegantly diving down the throat without touching the sides.
  • An Umbra Samaritan beating up the Megabeast in CC and getting full power-ups.
  • The same Umbra Samaritan Coup de Grâcing the Megabeast after the JSA force had knocked it unconscious.

P.S. If you comment and I don’t reply, it just means I’m still too new to Reddit to be able to post comments… 🙄

012 2000AD snippet

So I have a shitonne of models painted in a Judge Dredd/ABC warrior theme and was asked to show some. So I guess this is like 25% of all 012 I own and just some snap shots. If someone tell me how to answer with photos I might do close ups :)

Difference between IA and kestrel

Hello there. I have an Invincible Army and since the Kestrel pack is coming out, I'm wondering if I should buy it. Is there a noticeable difference in gameplay between the Invincible Army and the Kestrel? I've always wanted a PanOceania army, but I also want a new gameplay experience.

I'm like how IA links together, but lack of vision control and shooting modificators

Looks like kestrel is better at shooting( I want some apex predator army vibe), but same issues with vision control and more fragile to hacking as not having decent network, nor tinbot

Choosing a Pano Sectorial that plays differently from my current armies

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to start PanOceania and need some help deciding between a sectorial or vanilla. My goal is to pick something competitive that plays as differently as possible from what I already own.

My current factions:

· Invincible Army

· Shindenbutai

· Kosmoflot

I like PanO's concept of being the best at shooting, having the strongest ARO pieces, and making good use of TAGs.

I'm currently leaning towards Kestrel, Vanilla PanO, or NCA – but I'm also open to hearing about any other sectorials, even not PanO

Questions:

  1. Which PanO sectorial (or vanilla) has the best ARO game right now?

  2. How do they actually play on defense? Are they more reactive or proactive?

  3. Which one would feel the most different from my current armies?

I'm not worried about complexity – I just want to avoid picking something that plays too similarly to what I already have.

Any advice, experiences, or list ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've got a tournament coming up at the end of the month. The scenarios are: The Dig, Data-Harvest, and Outbreak. I'm trying to use Team-Ops for my lists. Here's what I have so far, any suggestions?
