got invited to some secret Infinix event called "Day Zero" and I'm still not over it
okay so this happened Friday and I need to talk about it because nobody I know irl will get why I'm still thinking about it.
saw Infinix drop a form on their socials for something called "Day Zero" - filled it out on a whim, didn't think much of it. then out of nowhere got an email saying I was in. The crowd was genuinely small. like noticeably small. the kind where you start wondering how many people actually got picked.
venue was Dave & Buster's in Pacific Mall Tagore Garden, and someone clearly said "everything orange" and meant it. lights, decor, even the dress code was white with an orange hint.
but the part that actually got me was the concert. three rising artists opened one from Noida, one from Mumbai, one from Dehradun, all genuinely good, not "opening act you tolerate" good and then Karma came out and the whole room just shifted. phones up, everyone screaming lyrics, that kind of energy you don't expect from a brand event.
after that it was just... unlimited arcade access? like they opened up the entire place. heard there was a phone on the line for whoever topped the bowling scoreboard, which explains why one guy was way too locked in on lane 3.
walked out with a goody bag too and it said "stay juicy" on it lol, wasn't the usual sad-tote-bag-with-a-pen situation actual accessories in there, worth digging through.
still don't know how I got picked tbh. not complaining though.
anyone else here get the invite or was it really that small a list?
