MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: Can I take a shower lole this? I have places to be and really really meed a shower

Injury occured last night. Applied pressure a long while and eventually made a makeshift compress to sleep in out of a relatively clean old beat-up t-shirt I folded and then added a long strip of fabric to hold the fold together and tied off all of the fabric with elastic tight enough to assure pressure without circulation problems

Woke up this morning at roughly 5:30 to 6:00am in excruciating pain like it was the opening scene of some horror RPG

Took 1000ng of Tylenol with the rest of my morning meds, took my dog out to pee and gave him breakfast

Removed my "bandage" which hurt like a bitch. Revealed that everything was still absolutely gaping but bleeding stopped

I was limping a bit and figured I was being a bit of a bitch baby and started my morning pacing warm-up and work-out routine to exercise and walk it off

Started feeling better

It's now 11am and it's bleeding again. (Maybe the friction of my shorts caised irritation?)

I can wipe around the area with a damp cloths and apply iodine but I fear I have no gauze pads at the moment.

I'm insured, but first and foremost I'm American and kinda rural so I HATE hospitals (It's not that I don't trust science, but hospitals just ain't for me.)

Not really sure where to go from here.

I really don't want to go to the hospital and I don't want stitches. Also money is tight.

sliced artery and tendon

I was grabbing my shoes from my room so i could walk to the gas station when i stepped on a glass vase, it obviously cut through my foot but i'm kind of used to injuries so i honestly shrugged it off. I noticed a lot more blood then other injuries but i kind of ignored it, i truly just couldn't feel the pain so i had no idea how bad it was. I then wrapped it in paper towels put on my shoes and continued to walk to said gas station and get a slushee ( I then noticed blood was leaking through my shoe onto the floor, i quick apologized over and over and walked all the way back home to figure out what was going on (1 mile there 1 mile back). As soon as i got home i elevated my foot on the bath and was just letting my foot drip hoping the bleeding would stop soon (spoiler: it didn't) after around 20 minutes of being lightheaded on the floor with my foot in the air gulping down my slushee which felt like my only lifeline i called my friend saying "I think i'm bleeding out." She came right away but didn't fully believe that i was being completely serious until she saw that the bathroom looked like a crime scene. She drove me to the ER and dropped me off at the front while she went to park. I was standing at the entrance waiting for her when an ambulance pulled up with a patient inside. They started unloading the patient and were about half way out when they noticed me just standing there with a pool of blood under my foot. They proceeded to put their patient BACK into the ambulance and got me inside as quick as possible. They tried to stop the bleeding but weren't successful which is when they found out the vase cut through my tendon and a minor artery, which they then had to clamp right away (NO pain meds btw). Finally they got me all stitched up and told me and my friend if i would've just kept sitting on the floor of the bathroom i would have bled out. Soooo moral of the story always have a slushee with you to keep you awake.

My cats Burst Abscess

Not sure if this is against the rules as I didn't see anything against posting pets, but this is my cat at the vet and her burst abscess.
