My story of the invisible bugs

This is what I went through. Starting close to a year and a half ago, I felt as if I was being bitten constantly by tiny bugs. In addition to the bites, I could feel them crawling on me. When inspecting my skin, I would find tiny black specks but I could not identify them.
I had been moved into a bad living situation due to circumstances beyond my control, so I was living in an RV very close to a septic pond. In addition to that pond, I also had all types of insects coming up through the drains as the tanks for black and grey water had not been properly cleaned.
The RV was treated several times for all types of insects. At that time I was also traveling for work. At the hotels I would be staying at each week, I would strip my clothes when getting into the room at the end of the day, bag them, take a shower, and as soon as I was drying off, I felt as though I was being attacked again. The biting never ended. Sometimes there would be an improvement, but the biting always returned.
A few months ago, I moved into my rebuilt home which was brand new construction with the exception of the foundation. About 4 weeks after moving in, I was attacked mercilessly by these biting insects. I was convinced they were some sort of mite because all I ever saw was black spots. I did a telehealth visit and was treated for scabies with multiple doses of ivermectin and cream. When that was unsuccessful, I used 10% sulpher cream for 3 days. My home was sprayed inside and out with just about every single chemical you could think of.
I finally got into the dermatologist and got my answer. I developed atopic dermatitis very late in life. I was bathing too much and had destroyed my skin. It turned out it was just very dry skin that became reactive to just about everything. (If a piece of lint touched my skin, I was in agony.). I started using olive oil without anything added. Even without using the steroids or anything else, the issue resolved within about a week. Anytime I felt like I was being bitten, I applied more oil.
Please get to a dermatologist if you are having mystery bites before suffering for over a year and spending thousands on insect control for something that might not even be there!

Insect bite in Japan

I got what I think was an insect bite while in Japan. It started off really small and itchy, but over the next few days it turned into a massive fluid-filled blister. It became really heavy and uncomfortable, so after a few days I sterilised a needle and drained it while keeping the blister roof intact. After draining I covered it with a dressing and I used fucidic cream but then a few hours later the blister refilled. Has anyone experienced anything similar after a bite? Any advice ?
