Got scammed

So In April I came across a post where a guy was selling these beautiful vintage metal fridge magnets with photo frame!
I placed an order.
I haven’t received the order yet !
Each time he has a new excuse! Family problems, out of town, difficult situation going on . Again texted him , No Reply, so letting you all know that Dont get scammed!

They always have some emotional excuses on loop !

Has anyone tried Schon Zapato??(or Schonzapato)

Been seeing a lot of Instagram ads of this brand lately and I really like some of their pieces. I usually read sone reviews on Reddit and unfortunately, almost all the Instagram ads I have seen of footwear brands(Rioz store—really liked their designs too, jmlooks, erdani) have bad reviews/complaints on Reddit like uncomfortable wear, bad quality, bad CS, sizing issue etc. so I was doing the same for Schon Zapato and couldn’t find any Reddit post/reviews.

So if you have purchased from them, please let me know about your experience with this brand and which one you bought. Or if there’s any other brand you’d recommend( I mainly look for comfort and design). Would really help, thanks in advance! : ))

I (26, F) have built this business with my then boyfriend during 2021. We are both from a small town and never got a chance to leave our hometown for a better city/job opportunities.

So we did what we could and started this small thrift business. 3 months back, we decided to build our own platform to list and sell. Put most our savings building it and after a lot of trial and errors, we're finally able to have this working site.

My fiance is 27 and he has a house loan that has 7 years on it. Just plain horrible. Plus the attitude and audacity with which their team talks on WhatsApp - 🤮 please don’t waste your money in this site.

NEVER ORDER FROM LOVE_DK, they will ghost you, start deleting your comments when you call them out and will take 0 accountability

so i purchased two items from earlier in the year, one was a necklace/choker and the other was a handchain. i truly love supporting small businesses founded by women and actively try to shop from them exclusively.

i was going on a month long trip and wanted to buy their jewellery for it. that was how much i liked their pieces. the items came and the handchain was so disappointing. i told them that "hey it didnt really meet expectations, i dont expect a refund/return, store credit would be great but even if that is not possible, totally fine just wanted to tell yall my honest thoughts" they were nice and gave me store credit for when i would be back in the country.

once i was back, getting the store credit also took a lot of emails on my part, they would never really reply on time. i finally got the store credit and bought earrings which were a pack of two. i wore one of them for three hours to CHURCH where the only thing i did was sit in one place for three whole hours, so no strenuous activity. i came home, took them off and when i went to wear em a few days later, i noticed that one of those was broken i.e. the mechanism that locks the hoop into place was no longer working. i would understand if i had rough used it or had been using it actively for days (even then not really cause i have bought earrings from mumbai locals that have lasted months). i emailed them and had to email an additional 3-4 times and had to text on instagram to get them to reply where they said they would look into it. i had sent them a video so it made sense. then they went awol for more than a week. i had to keep following up on insta and email and finally they replied saying they would only be able to issue store credit. EVEN AFTER ALL THIS, i would still be ok store credit if they had just responded on time. i sent the email regarding the issue along with a video on 29th july. i got a response saying they will look into it on 3rd aug and after repeated mails and texts on ig, i got an email abt only getting store credit on 11th aug.

why would you need more than a week to tell me that you can only issue store credit. even with store credit, i need to pay 90 bucks as shipping which i already paid once. ill need to do that again and obviously no item will be the exact store credit amount so i will need to pay a little extra too. i then emailed saying this resolution was not ok and that i just do not have the willpower anymore to take another risk with their business ever again.

and no response after that though it is a workday. i then dmed the founder on ig as well and commented on the latest post on her PUBLIC account and the brand's account, which they promptly deleted which i find to be the worst levels of accountability ever.

its only 600 something bucks but what truly hurts me is that i genuinely believe in supporting women owned businesses. and it sucks to see them act like this with no accountability at all. this just feels like the passion project of some rich kid where they do not give a flying fuck about other peoples money. there is no proper customer care and the founder herself replies to all the emails that are sent and she is horrible at it.

i also noticed that there is a similar review to mine somewhere on reddit so this is obviously a recurring thing where people get defective items then are given store credit and get more defective items and the cycle continues

i was checking out pages like boujee, the case company and all but on reddit i only found bad reviews. was it just bad luck for those people or actual scams because i liked their designs. any suggestions for other pages which are not known to scam?

Has anyone heard of or dealt with a shop called INS Luxury on Instagram? They're advertising Louis Vuitton shoes for around $200 Canadian, which seems super cheap even for replicas. I'm trying to figure out if they're legit or if it's a scam, so any reviews or advice would be great.

Do not buy from Nails by Firdos

I had ordered once from her in 2025 and even that time she delayed my order but atleast the work was good and she said she wasn't well that's the reason the order was delayed. I thought medical emergencies can happen with everyone so I didn't think about it much. This year in June, I placed another order with her and ordered two sets for my Birthday and for some other special occasion. While placing the order, she was replying to my messages so quickly and she sounded so confident with my order. She agreed to make them just how I asked and also, she said she'll be discussing every detail with me once she starts making the nails. But, she never discussed anything with me. She started giving very late replies and then she started ignoring my messages. She used to be active on Instagram, posting about her online classes and reviews but she was ignoring my messages. I got furious and I started calling her. Then she replied by saying that she has met with an accident. I believed and gave her some more time. Even after a week or two, I received no updates from her side but I saw her posting stories about dispatching orders so I texted her again to send me pictures of my nails if they're ready and she used to give reasons like - the sets are at studio so I'll send the pictures later and many other excuses. At a point I got mad at her to give me a refund because it was already been more than a month since I placed the order. And then she sends me the pictures of these nails. I told her these nails are nothing like what I asked and she started giving excuses like ombre effect wasn't possible to do in this design and blah blah.. She said, she'll give me a freebie on my next order. I'm like, how do I even trust you and place another when you have messed up my current order? I paid 900rs for these two sets and she had also told me that she'll be giving a freebie set on my order but she didn't send that freebie set in my order. I had chosen a design for the freebie set and she made the freebie set exactly the way I asked. But she messed the sets for which I had paid her. Now when I'm confronting her, she is refusing me to send that freebie set and she is expecting me to accept these sets when these are something that doesn't look like what I asked and paid for! I can't even wear these sets because they looks so bad.. She is expecting me to be polite to her after everything she has done. She doesn't even have a google business account otherwise I would have dropped a review there. I'm regretting so badly and I'm genuinely sad because I paid her full amount and received something that I can't even wear..

Instagram store we_sewsexyyy has scammed my friend, took payment didn’t deliver the article

My friend ordered an article from this woman on 19th August 2025 during one of her flash sales and paid around ₹3299. Simran asked for measurements, but since my friend was travelling at the time, she said she would send them later. Due to her travel and some family emergencies, my friend completely lost track of it. She has been constantly in touch with this fraud, Simran Batra, to get her article delivered (since June 2025). Sometimes this woman claims her previous account was hacked, or that she has a fracture. Then she says she has hired new staff and will personally look into it, but she never actually does anything. After repeated attempts, my friend has finally registered a complaint against her on the consumer helpline. What else can she do? Any suggestions? Last Simran responded was on 8th July…

why do online clothes never look the same colour as the website, Savana edition

idk if this happens only with me but colours on shopping apps never look exactly same in real life. Not always in a bad way also sometimes its just lighting but still it makes choosing clothes so confusing

I was looking at some Savana tops and the lighter colours especially look different in every photo like white becomes cream cream becomes beige and pastels look totally different depending on light. The pieces are cute but now i dont trust only the main product photo for colour

Do you guys also check customer photos first for colour or just take the risk if the design is nice enough
