Has OC'ing/ Under Volting the B580 gotten any more stable?

I have Acer Nitro OC card, what is you card and STABLE OC settings??

I eventually want to upgrade my laptops performance with a egpu but afraid i will get little to no performance boost, although my laptop has pretty good specs i would love an second opinion.

What parts can i use with a egpu that will truly boost my performance in all aspects - maining gaming

I was looking for a new gpu and saw B580 is the cheapest out of amd/nvidia entry series cards but when I looked around it was either sold out/delisted.

Where would you find a website selling them in the uk?

The other day I noticed driver 31.0.101.2140 WHQL instability with AV1 recording with obs while I maintain the overclock I use in games (with latest Game On driver) no matter which CQ you set , the recording showed the same graphical artifacts that appear when exporting and rendering video files in DaVinci Resolve Studio in AV1. If I try to render h264 or 265 it fails. In the edit section, while rendering the timeline, the preview is jerky, showing incredible GPU instability, which, among other things, reaches a maximum of 75% constant usage, non-stop. At least according to what the Intel software graphics overlay reports. No matter what I try: render cache ->smart different formats. Nothing works as it should as soon as a few color effects or blending are added and processed.

Anyone having similar issues?

Anyone know how to use FSR 4 INT8 on Arc cards? I heard it was possible to do with Optiscaler but no one really has a guide to do it. I'm not satisfied with the quality of XeSS really which is why I am asking. I got the B580 for cheap from a friend as an upgrade from my R9 270X, so I'm new to all this stuff.

I'm thinking of getting the B580 without stretching my budget too much. Based on the benchmark videos I've watched, it often performs better than the RTX 5060, while also being significantly cheaper.

I'd like to hear from anyone who's actively using it at 1440p (2K) with the latest drivers. In particular, I've noticed that on Intel cards, benchmark results in the same game can differ by as much as 30% between videos from 8 months ago and those from just a month ago, purely due to driver improvements.

That said, there are still cases where the RTX 5060 pulls ahead—for example, in Resident Evil Requiem, where it gets around 100 FPS compared to the B580's 70 FPS. On the other hand, in Red Dead Redemption 2, the gap is only about 3–4%, and in some games the B580 even comes out ahead.

From what I understand, one of the main reasons the B580 isn't more popular is that it's a fairly CPU-dependent GPU—the stronger your processor, the better it performs. Since I have an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, that shouldn't be an issue for me.

Overall, since I mostly play competitive games at 1440p using medium settings, the B580 seems like it would be more than enough for my needs.

My budget is around 100 dollars and I will get an AIO for cooling

Context is set to 65k
Results are much faster than using gguf with sycl or vulkan on llama cpp. OVMS FOR THE WIN 🎉🎉🎉

As the title says, is it good for 1080p? Or will the 8gb 5060 and 9060XT cards be better?

When paired with a Ryzen 5 9600X cpu.

Since I built my PC 2 weeks ago I’ve been having constant microstutters in any game I play. Tuning graphics settings helps a bit but it’s still there no matter what I’ve tried. I’m generally trying to play at 1440p mid settings. I’ll have a decent 70-90 sometimes 100 fps frame rate but when I turn my mouse to look around there’s a clear visual stutter. Same if I’m running around a busy city. I upgraded my CPU last night and that helped a bit but the problem is still there. Any other B580 users run into this and find a fix? All advice is appreciated. When I’ve posted about this in other subs all I get is I bought a “shitty intel GPU””

Yes rebar is enabled, yes I’ve got ram on highest mhz, yes I’ve downloaded the most recent GPU drivers, yes my motherboard is on most recent bios, v-sync is off on all games and instead I use freesync on my monitor.

My b580 card seems to be way underperforming in this game and I cannot figure out why . No matter what graphics preset , resolution or upscaling preset I choose this game is between 15 and 25fps . The title is badly unoptimized and heavy but multiple sources seem this card can atleast break the 45 fps mark on certain settings and ive seen b570s perform better . Fixes or causes?

Edit : For all having this issue. I have finally singled out the culprit. Go into your intel graphics software and disable all VRR options . This immediately fixed the game for me

Will there be a big bottleneck with a 5500 at 1080p or should I save a little more and get a 5600? Mostly would be playing single player aaa games

Currently running my b580 with a 5600. I’m fine with the performance at 1440p no complaints, however the 5800x3d was re released. Is it worth it to upgrade the cpu?

Recentemente obtive uma arcb580 que substituiu minha antiga rx550, porém assim que instalei surgiram problemas, o driver da intel diz que o resize-bar (resizable-bar) não está ligado na BIOS, mas está ligado, não só isso como não posso reiniciar o pc pois a placa-mãe não reconhece a gpu, tenho que desligar completamente e ligar para poder usar o computador, alguém sabe como resolver?

Setup:
Processador: Ryzen 5 5500
Placa-mãe: Gigabyte Pichau B550m-k
GPU: Intel ArcB580 challenger Asrock

PS: Obrigado a todos que tentaram me ajudar, não sei o que está causando esse erro ao reiniciar mas o mais importante que é o resize-bar foi resolvido e com ele sttutering, era o sistema antigo dando conflito, vou deixar assim por enquanto, até porque não tenho costume de reiniciar o pc quem sabe mais para frente saia alguma atualização que resolva isso.
