Coming back from a trip and just heard about what happened last weekend. I heard there will be more cops around and they’re closing Dykeman. Any idea what the neighborhood might be like tomorrow? I’m thinking specifically of where I can park my car safely/if the park will realistically be unaffected.

To those who may have been down by Dyckman yesterday for the parade, a plea….
I am all for a party and celebration (cubana over here), but if you were part of the mob that danced, climbed, and stood on cars, the owners of these vehicles have to deal with the consequences of your celebration. My car like others has damage on the hood, separation of our moonroof/top and our car was one of the ones with “minimal” damage. It’s so easy to get swept up with fun and emotions but know there are people in the community with life struggles and this was an unfortunate Monday surprise.
