Hi all,
After three attempts to transfer I need some advice.
I have 108 euro in my IBKR account, however it keeps telling me “might not have enough cash for transfer” and got rejected.
I am from NL, do I need to add even more cash ?
If IOND goes live on July 27 AND if my shares get transferred on July 28th AND they are valued at at least $21.21 per share AND I sell them AND assuming it takes 5 business days to get the money transferred to my bank account THEN this long a$$ nightmare will be over. I will recover 100% of the money I lost when Celsius, BlockFi, and Vauld all vanished at the same time.
July 13, 2022 - August 4, 2026 is...
1484 days,
The NFL played 1140 football games in that time,
MLB played 9,052 baseball games,
Queen Elizabeth died,
2 World Cups were played,
AI happened,
The James Webb Space Telescope happened,
The first American Pope happened
I am sitting here tearing up over the fact that the end is within grasp
Note: selling the stock will be combined with the money recovered from all 4 Celsius Settlements, 1 BlockFi Settlement, 2 Vauld Settlements.
Note 2: I don't consider the money "recovered" until it is sitting in my FDIC insured checking account
if so would love some details thanks so much
You received your shares, congrats!
Please let us know which broker you used, how much the fees actually were, and any other useful info others might benefit from.

Hi. I'm from Belgium Europe, and I did a transfer request on 22/07, topped up my account with 30 EUR, filled in the DRS, thought everything was fine..
It got rejected on 24/07 in the evening.
I added 100 EUR now or is the name in capitals the issue? Can i do the transfer again and still be on time since markets are closed in the weekend?
Just got this. My transaction status so far is stuck on “Awaiting receipt of securities” for 2 days
Does it mean the shares are being transferred or there’s a problem?
Here’s the reply after completing the process:
“I hope you are doing well today. My name is Amby, and I am from the External Account Transfers Team, thank you for initiating your DRS shares transfers to Wealthsimple.
After a review, our specialist team has informed us that these shares aren't currently trading, so they are not eligible to be deposited to your non-registered account. Because of this, we’re unable to complete the in-kind transfer, and the request has been cancelled.
No further action can be taken on this request at this time.
If the shares begin trading again in the future, you can submit a new transfer request then. Thank you for understanding!
Best”
I don’t think I did anything wrong here. Did anyone else have this issue?
I spoke with a Fidelity representative this afternoon and was provided with the following instructions for initiating the transfer:
1️⃣ Download Fidelity’s TOA form
👉 https://www.fidelity.com/bin-public/060_www_fidelity_com/documents/customer-service/transfer-assets-to-fidelity.pdf
2️⃣ Fill out Sections 1, 2, 3-e
Use your Fidelity account info + Odyssey Trust details.
Enter IOND and your share count.
3️⃣ ✍️ Wet‑sign preferred
Print → sign → scan as PDF.
4️⃣ 🔐 Log in to Fidelity
Search: secure message
5️⃣ 📩 Open “How do I send a secure message”
Tap Send a secure email
6️⃣ 📎 Attach your signed TOA PDF
Submit.
✅ Done — Fidelity processes it through their manual non‑ACATS workflow.
just as an FYI, for Canadians who are using IBKR, you're able to initiate a DRS transfer, but you need to have 100 USD in your account before initiating the transfer, or it will get rejected. You have to transfer CAD into the account and then convert it to USD, and then you're able to initiate the transfer.
Can we please settle this? I’m confused if the issue is US vs international? Or high net worth vs not?
Mine is submitted (E*TRADE) in the US. But I’ve read it will get rejected due to not trading yet (ticker not live). Also hearing Fidelity saying the same thing. Still others have an email from Schwab saying their transfer will be completed within 1 business day of live trading (aka July 29th).
So what is going on? All the brokerages are lazy and your mileage may vary? Is there truly a rule that says you cannot transfer the assets until they’re live? If so, does this law differ by region perhaps? Or are the several people mentioning they got their shares via IBKR full of it?
You received your shares, congrats! Please let us know which broker you used, how much the fees actually were, and any other useful info others might benefit from.
Thread on how to do an online transfer. Seems like this route won't work until the 28th so folks in the comments saying the manual route works.
I submitted the transfer request online on 7/22.
Message dated 7/23:
"Your full account transfer request is being processed with an estimated completion date of 07/29/2026. We'll be in touch if we need anything more from you."
IOND shares are now sitting in my Schwab brokerage account awaiting the IPO. Haven't decided whether to sell or hold yet but glad that this Celsius nightmare is almost finally done.
Got this email.
Started the process yesterday. Didn’t talk to anyone, just followed the steps you nice people post it on this Reddit Sub.
Close to done with this nightmare created by Fuckshinsky.
Surely someone has already asked this so I apologize in advance for the repeat question, but is it correct that that Robinhood can’t take transfers from Odyssey?
Curious what everyone's plans are for their IOND shares.
Are you gonna sell 100% ASAP?
Sell 50% and HODL the rest?
Or are you thinking these shares are secretly a blessing in disguise poised to outperform BTC in the AI wave?
