Bought the 13-inch iPad Air M4 128GB Cellular model!

It’s super comfortable to use!

I mainly use it for Remote Desktop, web browsing, sheet music PDFs, and online university exams, but honestly, 13 inches is just perfect.

Especially for sheet music, I feel like 13 inches is basically a must.

It also has 12GB of RAM, so multitasking is totally smooth.

I’m definitely going to love using this!

iPad Air camera slot

I recently bought the MOFT Dynamic Folio for my iPad Air 13" through Amazon. I selected the option labeled “iPad Air 13” (M2 2024 | M3 2025), expecting the camera cutout/design to be specifically made for the iPad Air.

Turns out, it’s actually the same design used for the iPad Pro. The Air just happens to fit it too.

The case technically works perfectly fine, but I honestly hate how it looks. The oversized camera area made for the Pro looks really awkward on the single-camera iPad Air (photo attached).

At first I thought maybe Amazon sent the wrong version, so I ordered the exact same case directly from MOFT’s website. It arrived yesterday… and it’s the same thing. Same iPad Pro-style camera design.

I know this is probably a minor issue and I should just keep using it, but it genuinely bothers me that the case doesn’t feel truly made for the Air model.

Now I’m considering buying the ESR Shift Magnetic Case for the iPad Air 13", but before I buy a third case, I wanted to ask:

Does anyone here own the ESR Shift for the iPad Air 13"? Is the camera area actually designed specifically for the Air, or is it another “shared with the Pro” design?

TL;DR: A lot of brands advertise cases for both the iPad Air 13" and iPad Pro 13", but they just reuse the Pro camera design. Functionally compatible, yes, but aesthetically terrible for the Air.

Suggestions for someone using iPad and iPhone together

I got my fiancée an iPad Air 13in (can’t remember if it’s M3 or M4) at the beginning of the year and she uses it constantly, which is obviously why she wanted it.

However, she also uses her iPhone 15 simultaneously. Like, she’ll have her YouTube videos running on the iPhone while she does whatever she does on the iPad. I’ve tried pointing out she could use just the iPad but, hey, she prefers to use them both.

So my question is this: Is there a gift or something that could improve her experience using the two devices together? She mostly uses them in bed and she uses Apple Pencil with the iPad. I was considering one of those pillows-with-a-flat-top but I’m not sure if there’s anything better or more useful for her user experience. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Charging Issues?

My iPad is an A15 which i got brand new in December. it’s been working perfectly fine and has had absolutely no issues. I recently bought a 2 meter long charger from Primark and i’ve been using it to charge both the iPad and my iPhone 15 plus with it since March. I found out a day or two ago that the charger doesn’t work unless bent in a specific way (this is important context, i promise 😭) I was charging my iPad with it this morning but the charging kept stopping and starting over again. Eventually, i assume it died so i just unplugged it and went about my day.

I came back home a few hours ago and attempted to charge it with my apple charger (it’s either the one to my iPad or my phone but i’m not sure which it is) but it’s just not turning on? It works on my phone perfectly fine but not on my iPad? I long pressed the power button and it’s not showing me anything either. i had a Chromebook charger in it for a few seconds and that didn’t do anything either.

Have I done something wrong? Do i just need a new charger? help please 😭😭😭 my iPad is literally not turning on

iPad Recommendations Needed

I’ve had the 2021 iPad Pro M1 12.9” (5th Generation) since its release and the battery health is starting to be a problem for me and I want to trade it in for either the Ipad Air M4 in either the 11” or 13”.

I’m currently a university student and my main uses of my ipad are scientific article annotation, notes, watching videos, delivering presentations, reading textbooks, using 3D model apps and acting as a supplementary device for my Macbook (including using my iPad as a screen extender). I am aware of the pros and cons of each size. I will also be purchasing the required apple pencil, but not the magic keyboard as I know I wouldn’t use it.

Does anyone have any opinions on which size would be the most useful for me based on my current usage? Is there any other iPad models I should be take a look at instead? Also are there any specific accessories I should be looking at to increase productivity?

iPad Air m2 randomly shutting off out of nowhere

Hey guys I hope someone can help me! I just recently had to replace my iPad because my previous one was damaged. I went and replaced it with AppleCare and everything seemed fine, up until yesterday when randomly out of nowhere my iPad would shut off and randomly restart without me doing anything. Mostly this has been happening every time I watch a YouTube video though I’m not sure that’s the direct cause. Does anyone know why this is happening even if it’s a completely new iPad? Like I literally just got it 3 days ago and then randomly it would switch off. My previous iPad didn’t have this issue up until the new iPad and the new software update. What could possibly go on? Will this pass or should I go back to apple? Please let me know!

Logitech Combo Touch trackpad — looking for advice/experiences

I recently picked up the Logitech Combo Touch for my iPad Air and I’m having some trackpad issues I wanted to get the community’s take on.

A few things I’ve noticed:

•	Palm rejection seems unreliable — while typing, the cursor occasionally jumps and selects/overwrites text unexpectedly
•	Cursor precision is difficult — placing the cursor at a specific point in text takes multiple attempts
•	On uneven surfaces, the mechanical click mechanism can get stuck in a clicked position and register phantom clicks

I’ve seen some discussion online suggesting the Magic Keyboard’s trackpad is significantly better, and I’m now considering switching to a Magic Keyboard + MOFT Snap Stand combination to get the kickstand functionality I wanted from the Combo Touch.

Has anyone made this switch? Would love to hear whether others have had similar trackpad experiences with the Combo Touch, and whether the Magic Keyboard is as noticeably better as people say.

M4 air

Have been using a couple weeks and very much like it. Not the same form factor as my old mini, but definitely a major upgrade. :) just wanted to share joy
