Mark Ashton on the transfer window: "Probably easiest to say this: We’re not done... There’ll be more ins, there’ll be more outs. We're not done."

Club being fantastic for my Nans 100th birthday

Emailed supporter services at the club and asked if there was anything they might be able to do for my Nan's 100th birthday. Receive this card and scarf but the card is sealed so we need to wait until the big day to see who signed it. Needless to say I am very excited

Predictions?

Okay look guys let’s be real here… Are our expectations simply, “Hey let’s try to stay in the premier league for a couple years” or is it like “Hey let’s try to go out there and qualify for Europa?” Maybe I’m being way too optimistic but let’s try for a top 10? Finish?

Who do you reckon could surprise us this season?

With so many new faces around the squad, there’s bound to be someone who comes out of nowhere and has a massive season. Could be a new signing, a younger player getting more minutes, or even someone who hasn’t had much attention so far.

Over £100m spent this summer: What’s our best starting XI now?

Emersonn, Fatawu, Maeda, Diop, Scherpen, Florentino, Enciso, Ouattara.. it's a completely different-looking squad from last season. I'm excited by it, but there's also a lot of new players who need to figure each other out pretty quickly. With Sunderland coming up on Saturday, who are you starting? And how long do you reckon it'll take this team to properly click?

[David Ornstein] Ipswich set to announce signing of Julio Enciso from Strasbourg in deal worth more than €30m

Ipswich Town are set to confirm the permanent signing of Julio Enciso from French club Strasbourg.

The two clubs have agreed a package worth more than €30million including add-ons and a future sell-on clause. The deal will also see 20-year-old midfielder Abdoul Ouattara move in the same direction.

The Athletic reported on August 12 that Ipswich had agreed a deal in principle to sign the Paraguay international.

Enciso, 22, has completed his medical with the promoted side ahead of their return to the Premier League and is set to sign a five-year contract at Portman Road.
