I’ve been loving The Things team up (boosted or non boosted doesn’t matter) that burst damage combo on a healer in the backline has been so good. I haven’t found a use for white fox team up yet… what about you guys?

Do you take advantage of his passive ability and stop punching an ennemy when hes low to get an ally to finish him and get the overhealth, or do you just confirm the kill ?
For context, I used to be a Bucky main back in Seasons 0 and 1, and my lord, I played the crap out of the game back then. That shit was so fun.
I decided to pick Bucky up again because I was legitimately getting depressed playing Iron Fist this season even tho I have like a 60% win rate in Cel, and OMDs, this hero is so fun.
Like, you mean to tell me I have almost no counters apart from heroes that are simply better than me, like Elsa? If I ban BC, dive is pretty much cooked. I can peel, frontline, take off-angles, contest anyone, and on top of that I have infinite ammo and an overshield?
I swear to y'all, this is the most fun I've had in Rivals since Season 1.
Honestly I think enchanted WF team up makes fist a top tier. Glad it’s slept on so much by rivals players.

I got iron fist to grandmaster 1 a couple of seasons. Currently grinding him up again. I had played a tiny bit of namor when I had just started. After 2 years of playing iron fist, they finally banned him in a game I was playing and was forced to play another character.
I literally don’t know how to play any other character so I said fuck it and chose the punisher.
Bro wtf are we doing to ourselves playing iron fist. It felt like I went from playing the game in legendary mode to easy mode. The skill difference is insane. Like why do we even bother with pillow fists. I just had to shoot down a main line and stacked up kills.
I was just checking out settings unique to Iron Fist but I haven't been able to find results online.
At first it didn't seem like it did anything, but am I correct that this actually gives you more control on the direction iron fist runs? Normally I'd want to run forward but it's nice to have the option to watch behind me when I go wall run.
I love fist, don't get me wrong, but so many things are frustrating. His lock on is buggy, his kick has two instances of damage where one does NOT guarantee the other hits and allows targets to double jump or move out of the way, his flurry damage to anything outside of a tank is pitiful and his primaries border on useless. ESPECIALLY HIS PRIMARIES. They are fine alone, but when you compare it to every other damage source in the game, among divers and brawlers, it is so bad.

So recently in a ranked game I played I played fist the entire time and to say the least my performance was…abysmal. They had a champion Angela on the other team and you’d think with me being a direct counter to fist it would be simple to peel against her…but no💔 I did not use parry and flurry punches to peel against her once cause I was too stupid to realize that that combined with his auto tracking is why he’s a counter to her.
So there I was peeling full pillow fists against angel doing fuck all and basically leaving my supports wide open, and combined with that my inconsistent ass tracking of course turns off completely when she’s at 1 hp making me look like a stupid fucking bot infront of my teammates who rightfully so were shit talking me but I digress.
They wanted me to swap but there exact words were “unfortunately he’s a direct counter to her and he can’t even kill her once”💔💔💔 and for the cherry ontop there was a goddamn Widow sniping all of us from 800 yards away so I basically had to choose between diving the widow and peeling against Angela so that wasn’t fun.
Overall this was a humbling experience and I have nobody to blame but myself and my own stupidity cause maybe if I had more braincells than I did limbs MAYBE we might’ve won that🥀 I ended the match with most final hits but that really doesn’t mean anything I was useless. I’m a disgrace of a fist main and I would like to apologize for disgracing fist mains everywhere with my idiocy
Iron Fist currently sucks, the only times I find myself winning or playing well with him is when the enemy team is already getting stomped or when I dive on people that clearly don't know how to play. Here are some of my ideas:
Just give him more damage, or attack speed. How much? Idk. Yes it's stupid but who knows, maybe it's enough.
Make that lock on dash actually lock on and center your screen, cause if the enemy moves even 1inch in the wrong direction, you end up punching air. Don't get me started on flyers.
Make the lock on dash deal some damage, and put it on a cool down that refreshes if you get a kill.
Make the over heal decay take longer. What's the point of having it as an ability if you can't do anything with it cause not even 3 seconds after it's gone?
Give any of the following, 1 or more, to his ultimate:
-Lifesteal
-Healblock
-If you get a kill it extends it
-Over heal and damage resistance
-Reduce it to 1 single punch that dashes to the enemy and can 1 shot anyone. Activate ultimate, does a charge animation and his fist starts to glow (and a very loud scream). You now have 5 seconds to aim at anyone and click the kill button, anyone behind the target is getting damaged based on how close they were (Use iron man ult as a base)
Take away his self healing and health on kill and just give him health steal
Either remove White Fox team up (Hopefully not because lore) or change it to give himself the health and not the teammates
Make his self heal halve his abilities cool down
Feel free to tell me how stupid I am for suggesting any of these and why they would break the game. Say skill issue and I'll curse you to never get good healers again.

you use your thing teamup to like make the supports un able to heal eachother and then do some punches into kick into sweeping kick i dont know if i can try it in a game cause thing players are a lil rare for me
you can usr your melee button so you could do movement without having to waste your second kick if the thing teamup and use it to confirm kills after your actual kick still havent tried in a real match yet it also works in basr form using flurry
i was practicing kpx noisy’s cutback tech and found this 275 to death combo i was wondering if this was already known?
As an iron fist main, I know there isn’t exactly just one indicator that shows how well you played but for me, the best indicator by for is total damage done in comparison to your teammates. Kills are nice but the real king is up time. More up time = more damage.
I’d rather have 15 kills 14k damage
Than 20 kills 7.5k damage
Thank you to u/TheDragonPunch for posting that you can do it in ult but after testing it I found that you can also do it with empowered punches
Maybe its a bug that you cant use regular punches when other characters like Rogue can delay their abilities by using their melee button
There's probably some tech that much better iron fist players than me can get some use out of so I thought I should post it to spread awareness
