Still one of my fav projects from zay i can’t believe this jawn is 7 years old already still hits the same 7 years later this dude was so ahead of his time it doesn’t make sense he was already on a sound that was 3-4 yrs ahead of him even in the current underground his influence is very present Izaya Tiji is truly an brilliant artist when comes to encapsulating a feeling in his music when it comes to the lyrics the production it’s just great he just knows how to build an atmosphere so well.

izaya music regulates the soul

been going thru it a lot for the past few months and have generally felt much shame throughout my life. but izaya’s music, esp his earlier work from 2019-2022 takes me out of perpetual fight or flight mode that i often feel and i only connect to prolly 2-3 other artists’ music in a similar way. even if he’s not actively in his artist bag these days im beyond happy his earlier work exists and im sure many have also felt regulated/healed while listening 🧘🏽‍♂️
