Help regarding online dropper courses

Hey everyone,i scored well enough in physics and chemistry,0 in maths(thats is why i am taking a drop). For my drop,i am focusing on resolving resonance modules till oct for these two subjects, but i still feel like i am missing something by not following a system or coaching,at the same time i do not want to waste time in lectures doing what i already did for basics.i studied offline in kota for the past two years, and hence want to know if there is a batch which focuses only on advanced skipping over the basics with less no of lectures and more focus on finer parts of the preparation.
I still have some syllabus left in inorganic and physics which i would do from full length lectures.

Tldr;Need a batch that would be for people who have a good enough understanding of the physics And chemistry.Major focus on problem solving sessions,So that i can rectify my concepts.

Physics-93 percentile
Chem-94 percentile

I still had syllabus left in these two so yeah.[majorly the syllabus towards the end of 12th].
Thank you.

Study group?

Was thinking about creating a study discord server.I myself won't be active much , the main goal of it will be just to log in and tell our day's progress and share our jee trauma. If enough people engage i will create one.

(Side note : I feel discord as best as it's not overly commercial like telegram and not as personal as a whatsapp group.)

guys need your opinion

I got 97.4 this year. 12th got pretty messed up because of really bad mental health and sicknesses, bad coaching experiences and lack of accountability, guidance. So i have a few doubts-

  1. Will you guys join a coaching? I have most of the syllabus completed, but I still have some conceptual gaps (and I lacked practice in 12th too).
  2. How will you solve your doubts? Doubt support is one of the biggest things I’m worried about. This was something offline coaching handled pretty easily.
  3. Mentorship/guidance? I was thinking of getting one of those mentorship programs by IITian YouTubers. Are they mostly scams? I genuinely feel like I need proper guidance including nonacademic stuff, because my teachers gave ass advice  ( big institute tho💀) I was confused most of the time.

need advice on how to not waste my drop year

need advice on how to not waste my drop year.

completely messed up my 11th and 12th. In the beginning of 11th I was going to regular school + online JEE coaching, but after a few months i got overwehmed and convinced my parents to get me dummy.(worst decision oat) plus I had recently moved from a north Indian state to Karnataka, so wasn’t comfortable socially or with spoken English, had almost no serious JEE environment in school asw(i know these are excuses and padhne wale bache padh lete hai)

My parents then shifted me to dummy school + an offline coaching center. The problem was the coaching was around 2 hours away one side, so my whole day became:
leave at 7am → reach by 9 → classes till 3 → reach home by 6 and then thak jaata tha

the teachers honestly weren’t good and didn’t care much.(i used to play mobile games all day in the class at last seat and the teacher didnt give a fuck and baaki baache bhai aise hi aawara the). My 11th basics got ruined, especially organic chemistry, and I developed fear/backlog of subjects instead of improving them

baadme, the center shut down, and my parents enrolled me back into online coaching in 12th along with extra expensive tuition for physics and chemistry because they thought my weak base could still be fixed. The teachers were actually good this time, but by then I had become badly addicted to Discord, YouTube, Instagram, random scrolling, fake online identities for attention/dopamine, etc. I attended lectures inconsistently and procrastinated.

basically spent 2 years pretending to study while fooling my parents and myself plus no social interaction asw

Result:

  • JEE Main Jan attempt: 45 marks
  • April attempt: 30 marks
  • Did badly in VITEEE, MET, BITSAT, etc.
  • BITSAT Session 1: 134

I also regularly slept around 4am for months/years and now my attention span feels destroyed.,i can barely focus for more than a few minutes without wanting stimulation

The worst part is my parents spent a LOT of money on coaching and tuition because they trusted me, while I kept wasting time online

At this point I’ll most likely take a drop because my parents don’t want to spend lakhs on lower tier private colleges, and honestly I also want one proper chance where I do things correctly.

tldr:

  • How do I avoid repeating the same cycle?
  • How do I rebuild discipline and focus after frying my brain with constant dopamine?
  • How should I structure a drop year if online study distracted me badly before?
  • How do I deal with huge guilt and regret without spiraling again?
  • Is it realistically possible to recover from this situation in one year if I become serious now?

Please be brutally honest if needed. I know most of this is my fault. I just don’t want to waste another year the same way(and the nearest coaching from me is 2hours plus and online its so aghh)
