Anyone know why JID agreed to ghost feature on this song? 😭

I don't hate mgk or (current) Trippie Redd as much as most people do, but collabing with both of them on a 'sadboy' album just wouldn't seem to work for JID and sounds like it would end up awful — and listening to the song, yup, painfully boring and JID didn't feel like he belonged there as expected. Does he have some sort of good bond with either Tripp or mgk and agreed to help em out? Honestly feels like a fever dream at the fact he agreed on this lmao, would be even funnier if he was the one to come up with being a ghost feature.
