Some doubts I had cleared by trying to call them for the 6767th time :

If you haven't been alloted a hostel they dont give a duck so find something yourself.

Hostel allotment is most probably in the beginning phase right now so maybe wait and you can be lucky enough.

Those who have been alloted a hostel, they can come on 12th, 13th for convenience but 14th is also fine. Its not mandatory to come on 14th.

If you haven't got a hostel, just go on 14th.

Hey there I am a failed dropper, got 92.75%ile in mains. I am honestly stressed lately. I am posting this here since my Karma is low and thus the relevant subreddits don't allow me to post there. The thing is well I am getting JIIT Noida, last year's data shows that by the end of the upgradation process, I will get mathematics and computing.

The thing is I don't like the atmosphere in JIIT, so I was considering thapar by the later rounds, the fourth round is well in the mid of August and the spot rounds will be later on either September start or August end, of which I have asked by friends at thapar that I have a decent chance of getting a seat, I also had a decent score in bits, but looking at the counselling trend this year I will get only something at the end of the counseling process and that too isn't confirmed. Bits is obviously my first priority.

But the thing is well, JIIT requires me to report on 14th July to verify documents and deposit things like migration certificate and character certificate. The helpline isn't picking up the calls and well if in later rounds I get seats at either bits or thapar I don't know how much time will they take to accept a request. Can anyone guide me?

I have a budget of 5-6k/month. What are some hostels that I can get?

1. we should look for other options as cut offs this year are insane despite being tough paper and osm stuff

2. all the seats are filled in first three rounds of each counselling (pcm + jee based).. there would not be withdrawals..

3. last admitted would be around 87-88... There is no scope for less than this...they should secure somewhere else...

4. they had intentionally put candidates below this to gain interst on their deposit for 1 lacs

5. as their is no cut offs release... The system is not transparent, reliable, accountable, efficient, and somewhere milawat hai admission process me for those high paying rich candidates and those with minsters contacts who also have secured admission internally and everything seems transparent according to management as they are paid

6. they were hurry to pay counselling fee which is more than expections 1-1 lakh each which surely illegal as no other institution pvt + govt charges before admission offer letter

7. and after this if we ask our status or chances, they have made ai bots to answer on numbers as well as emails...wtf... don't they understand the condition of parents and candidates at this stage?? They are mentally torturing and meaning their full extent..

8. neither we receive our status after each round... 9 no spot rounds... No vacancy... 10 accept truth and move 11 no round 4

Can you tell me the process and everything I'm clueless what to do

last year only 3 rounds happened also wtf has happened to the cutoffs this year ts is so unfair and also can we edit choices ?

so i was alotted ece in the very first counselling and it was upgraded to mnc afterwards but i still haven't recieved the offer letter but on portal mnc is my alotted branch

meri rank 147k hai aur 10+2 mai 88 in pcm hai i am waitlisted from round 1 of 12 and round2 of jee mains 89%age par bachoo ko 128 cse mill gayi hai aur mujhe kuch bhi nhi milla hai mujhe kuch samjh nhi aa rha hai kya karu main ipu mai mait dekh raha hu through other source of admission mera dimaag bilkul band ho gaya hai ki mait lu ya fir 128 cse ke liye wait karu koi bol raha hai ki ipu is best koi bol raha hai ki jiit pls seniors guide me and more students like this pls upvote this pls koi seriously guide kar do its question a life carrier

I forgot to fill the commitment money during jee based merit round , will they open the window again for me to pay and enroll in further rounds? Please help me with this.

jiit noida mailed me today for jee mains round 4 counselling and so basically i have to pay 1 lakh counselling fee ( 60k counselling and 40k around for hostel ) .

if i dont get cse or if i opt out of counselling, i will get the amount refunded right ?
