Finally got my first high-end projector: JMGO N3 Ultimate!

Finally got my first high-end projector: JMGO N3 Ultimate!

I spent quite a while deciding which projector to get, and after reading some reviews in this sub, I went with the N3 Ultimate. It’s my first real high-end projector, and the 4K image is sharp and bright, definitely better than I expected. I’m still getting familiar with all the features, but it’s been fun exploring them.

Setting it up in the living room took maybe five minutes, super straightforward. The built-in speakers are decent, enough to make the room feel like a mini home theater without hooking up anything extra. And it's just being so quiet. Even with the brightness set to 10, I can barely hear any sound. I had seen some posts saying similar high-brightness projectors can be quite loud, like the horizon20max, so I was worried the N3 might be the same, but that worry ended up being completely unnecessary.

I’m thinking I should probably grab a screen to get the full experience. Really happy with this pick!

JMGO N3 Ultimate - Bright circular spots in dark scenes?

New JMGO N3 Ultimate owner here. Two bright circular spots (one sharp, one fainter) appear in the upper image only on pure black screens/test patterns. Not visible during normal dark movie scenes.
Tried black test patterns, lens cleaning, different modes, lens shift, etc. issue persists. Looks like light leakage.
Anyone else seen this on N3 Ultimate? Normal or should I request warranty replacement?
Thanks!

Basically decided on the N3 ultimate. Should I buy now or wait for the prime day

Considering getting an n3 ultimate mainly for watching the world cup with a few friends, but I'm not sure if it fits my space. I'd be using it in my living room, probably 10 ft from the wall. Some games maybe during the day, so the room won't always be fully dark. Wondering if the 5800 lumens wouldbe bright enough for that.

I don't need a full theater setup, just something bright enough for soccer, easy move around and good enough for movies after the world cup. Also, is the current big game sale worth jumping on or should I wait for the pd? Would it likely be cheaper then?

JMGO PicoPlay Bricked after Android 14 update?

Hey guys, today I received my brand new PicoPlay, and I was super excited to finally try it out. After turning it on, installed apps...etc. I manually checked for system updates and saw the official Android 14 update was available, so I decided to install it. The download and installation went through smoothly, but right after clicking "Restart", the screen went black and it hasn't successfully booted since.

Now, when I plug it in, the RGB LEDs light up and stay on for about 20 seconds, but the lamp and fans just start for like 2 seconds (I can see JMGO logo) then, it completely shuts down and goes completely silent.

After those 20 seconds, the RGB LEDs turn off though the ON/OFF button stays lit, so it seems to be in suspension/standby mode.

It seems the hardware is good, but the software or the bootloader got lost during the reboot. I've already tried a few button combinations on the remote and the device itself, but nothing seems to interrupt the loop.

Since the unit is literally fresh out of the box today, I'm pretty heartbroken. I already reached out to the official email support, but I wanted to check here as well in case the community or the JMGO staff can help me solve it quicker.

Does anyone happen to have the factory firmware/Stock ROM for the PicoPlay, or any known steps to force a recovery using a USB drive on boot?

Any guidance, files, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance!

UPDATE: u/Away_Drop2072 and the support team at after-sales@jmgo.com contacted me to quickly solve the issue. They sent me a .pkg file to use with a USB drive to get it back to life, and it worked seamlessly!

Now enjoying it!

Thank you so much for the quick help!

N1S 4k Pro- turn off

I bought the n1s 4k pro and I am really happy with it!

But there is something I haven't figured out yet. When the projector is on stand by (which is all the time I am not watching) it makes some noises, kind of a soft beeping.. has anyone had the same experience? Why does it do that ? And most importantly how do I turn it off ??

Flawless support by JMGO

I had Picoflix that was left uncharged for a long while at 0% charge; I believe that caused a battery problem.
I contacted JMGO to ask for a way to bypass the need for battery, and instead they told me to send it to their warehouse.
I sent my Picoflix, and a couple weeks later they sent me a new one.

The entire process was clean and seamless, from the web chat response, to the mails by JMGO sales, to the shipments. I couldn't ask for a better response.

Need a JMGO projector recommendation for World Cup viewing in my garage

Hey guys, total projector noob here. Trying to set one up in my garage for the World Cup this summer. Garage is about 20x15 ft with a couple of windows letting in some daylight, so most viewing will be in the evenings when it’s cooler.

I keep seeing the JMGO N1S 4K getting a lot of good reviews, but have no idea if it’ll actually work for my garage. I need it bright above all, don’t care about fancy features.

Has anyone tried it or got a better idea? Don’t wanna blow money on something that sucks.
