Shipping Price Inquiry..

Hello! I’ve been really excited to purchase from jpfans as there’s so many things I want to buy but I’m worried about the overall shipping price? I would use the shipping estimate but I’m not entirely sure how much it’ll weight nor the dimensions. I wanted to buy a massive haul which is why I’m unsure and I don’t want to buy like three rider drivers, possibly 5+ figures, and then get hit by $200+ in shipping. Is there anyone who can possibly give me an answer or insight?
EDIT: forgot to mention but im also from the U.S.

Shipping cost to Europe

So I want to buy some games from Japan but I can't find any information about an estimated shipping price. What would the shipping cost be to Europe, specifically to Spain? I only want to buy a few 3DS and Switch games, but I'd also like information about figurines, for example.

JPFans

For people that are unsure when ordering off of JPFans because it's new you should! because I've myself just made my first order on JPFans whilst being unsure but I had no problems at all because on JPFans things are easy and really simple to understand and their weight and height system. but I would say this be careful and before you order see if you can get the weight and height so you can make sure you have enough money to pay for the international shipping fees but other than that JPFans gives me no problem at all!!! Ive just recently placed in an order for manga so the video will show what I'm mainly talking about when it comes to the weight and height and other things when it comes to shipping and other things regarding JPFANS!

First timer, concerned with shipping in Europe

I mainly wanted to know, first of all, if they ship to Portugal but I'm more concerned with the cost, like do I have to pay tax cause the shipping is done outside of Europe? or do they have warehouses in Europe that then ship to the specific county inside of Europe? Sorry if it's a dumb question but I didn't find anything addressing the customs tax

Does anyone know about this tracking service?

Maybe it’s just me and I’m a little dense but I didn’t know they charged extra if the product has batteries. So I went with an alternative that was approx 24? ECMS does not do this particular delivery and it was this or UPS to which was ranging from 40-60. And honestly I was relieved at the time seeing an alternative to UPS but now I am worried because I cannot find the service whatsoever.

I can’t even remember what it’s called but it also says that it needs to be paid? Is there a second payment for this particular service?

Question regarding shipment

Small question, as I am waiting for my items to arrive to storage and wanted to ask. Has anyone split the packages before? was the cost lower or higher?

"procurement service fee"?

This is the first time I'm ordering from a proxy service. There's this service fee that shows up in my order summary as $250, and I'm not sure what it is. Also, it doesn't add up to my expected total. I just wanted some clarification on what exactly is showing up here

Received Completely Different Items To What I’d Ordered

I’m just so baffled right now, I just received my package and after opening a strikingly massive box (considering I’d only ordered a couple trinkets and keychains) it was filled with anime figures??? I’m so confused…

Has this happened to anyone else? This isn’t my first time using a proxy service to buy things out of Japan, but it is my first time using JPfans after having it be recommended to me multiple times online.

Like I said, I only ordered about 17 dollars worth of tamagotchi keychains but instead received all these haha

I’ve already emailed customer support so hopefully I’ll be able to receive a refund- wish me luck!

International delivery problem

I made a mistake trying to get my "new" 3ds ll delivered to me because I put in Eastern America Samoa instead of United States for the delivery of my item, thinking that the US wasn't an option. I also for some reason thought I lived in the east, but I definitely don't.

They already finished the packaging process, so reverting it is out of the question. I just need know what I can do now that doesn't involve canceling my order because I really don't want to miss out on this very good deal I got on this thing!!😭😭

I received someone else’s order

so i ordered about $300+ worth of anime figures (shipping prices included) but today i received a small box, like small enough to not even fit one figure, and it was full of several tamagotchi related items. I’m not even a fan of that franchise. I’ve reached out to their customer support but have yet to receive an answer. Any tamagotchi fans received a giant parcel full of madoka Magica and Miku figures? Anyone have any similar experience? is customer service helpful?

Stolen package from jpfans

I ordered off jpfans and the badges i choose for my ita bag was expensive for one singular piece so i decided to save up one paycheck and the total came up to $266 with for 24 badges but i was able to ship out 22 badges. The shipping comes up and i had to pay around 98 for tariffs n shipping. i checked for frequent updates on my package on the shop app, and yesterday it was supposed to be delivered but i had to go work that all day, so i told someone to keep an eye out for my package, by the time i come back i checked for any updates but the status still said out for delivery so i head off to sleep but i woke around 3am to check the shop app again and it said it was delivered yesterday around 5:30pm and i go investigate n i see the delivery pictures and the mail man left it outside of my apartment complex. The mailman didn’t even deliver it infront of my door or the mailroom someone stole my package i have no idea what to do, i already contacted the customer service for the carrier but they said nothing can be done. can anyone help me ?

JPFans haul #1!!!

Parcel number: 2048841666370064385

First time ordering from this site. I had this shipped out and it arrived faster than I expected it too. I ordered quite a bit and during the initial buying process two of the items had gotten flagged at the warehouse. An agent reached out to let me know that there could possibly be an issue with sending it out. It was quickly resolved, and they were able to include in the parcel above. Everything else came wrapped pretty securely, which put my mind at ease during the delivery process as I was a little worried about some of the photo cards, and if the fans would be damaged in transit. The images they provided before sent out did reassure me and when I unboxed it, I felt even more happy that everything was in good condition. Overall, I had a great experience using the service and it was well worth the money spent. I’m really happy that I was able to buy all these items and grow my collection. I would more than likely recommend JPFans to somebody else who is looking to purchase things overseas, especially if it’s PCs that are more expensive in the states.

First time ordering and need help

I’ve never bought anything from JPfans before and was wondering if it’s smarter to buy things the things I want at the same time? I also had a few questions regarding that.

  1. If I buy several items from different sellers, would I have to pay for shipping individually?

  2. Will the price greatly increase if I buy other things or will it remain the same as buying one item?

JPFans Haul - honest experience with unboxing video and prices

So this is my first time using JPFans to ship from Japan to UK- here is my honest experience. (TLDR and what I paid - scroll to the end)

Main points:

1. Buying my items:

JPFans is a useful proxy if you want to buy from Mercari or Amazon JP mostly. They charge a small procurement fee (approximately £5) which you can see before you pay for the item. You can either search in English or what I did for more results is google what my item is in Japanese and then copy the characters into the search bar!

2. Warehouse storage

The actual time it takes to reach the warehouse depends on the sellers but 2- 3 days is normal, and once your items arrive they can be seen in your virtual warehouse. There you have options to unbox add visual inspection photos and videos for a small price and reassurance your items are genuine. They store your items in the warehouse for 60 days which is useful if you want to buy multiple things at once from different sellers!

3. Shipping costs:

Once you have the item, you can calculate shipping and choose your preferred courier - EMS is what I used and it came to my doorstep within 10 working days of submission - not bad for speed! There are other shipping pathways you can choose but I chose the cheapest option by air. I'm sure by sea which takes months is cheaper but my items didn't qualify for that.Once you submit for final packaging and consolidation, and they will send you photos of your items and the evidence of the parcel and weight. My box arrived completely undamaged and everything was packed neatly as you can see.

Now about the cost: I found that the online shipping estimate tool they provide is quite inaccurate unfortunately: Link: Shipping Fee Estimation

I had three items inside - a limited Dragon Ball figurine (1.6kg), a Toolbox from Amazon (2.6kg) and a small footstand for figurines. Even if I input the exact weight and dimensions of my item, I ended up paying more in the end. For example, one of my items before I purchase, it gave me an estimate of £20, but when it came to the warehouse the new estimate was about £40. Obviously this was reduced by coupons they will provide for first time buyers or referral codes but nevertheless, I feel their shipping estimate could be improved.

Do you save on shipping if you consolidate it into one box? Sort of... in total the cost will be cheaper than shipping separately. HOWEVER - you never know how much it will cost until after you have already bought the item. They either charge you shipping based on weight, or volumetric weight (whichever is more) so if your item is big but light, they still might charge you based on box size. And say you have one item that is 4kg and requires a big box so they charge you a volumetric box size for 5kg, if you add another smaller item that is 0.3kg, you still pay more even if its under 5kg total- it will always be more expensive, they won't just chuck it in for free. The agents are super helpful but most of the things you buy cannot be refunded. Also here is where you can pay an extra small fee (£1.5- £2) to have your item unboxed - its no guarantee, but if you know the parcel it came in has a lot of dead space and air a.k.a Amazon - unbox it - It will be packaged securely.

TLDR : Worth it if you're buying something that you can't wait to have and is limited - just bear in mind the shipping fees can get steep and to work that into your total. Make sure to make use any shipping coupons and unboxing service to save cost. In retrospect I could have unboxed my Amazon purchase because of all the dead space (typical of Amazon parcels) but in total the price for shipping was about £65 (before applying coupons) for a box that was 48 x 38 x 35 cm in dimensions, weighing 4.3 kg.

Pros: Good cheap market items compared to the west. User friendly service, reliable and arrived in quick time. Safe packaging and good photos for confirmation. Agents were useful and replied within a day.

Cons: Shipping is expensive and their website shipping estimation tool can be more accurate.

In the end, would I use them again? YES if the item is cheap on the Japanese market, had coupons to use and it is an item I cannot wait for!
