So I’m currently in the market for a jzx90 mark 2, I found one I can import from Japan for around 25k landed, it’s manual, 170km, and 1jzgte of course. But then I found an is300 with a 1jzgte swap, but it’s auto, 220k on the chassis, but it’s only 14k, and it’s local so I wouldn’t have to take any import risks. If you were in my position which would you pick?
I currently started experiencing loose steering when I hit bumps and also shake while going over 80kph I recently changed the inner/outer tie rods thinking it would solve the issue but still the same. from this video is anyone able to see what the issue might be?
Car was off the road for a couple weeks whilst I sorted the kit. Got it all together and now I have loads of lights flashing on the dash. Eml code 21 and 24, both airbag lights continuously flashing and also an abs light. All came at once. Tried clearing them and all came back. Battery's all good and I pulled the ecu and from what I could see it all seems okay. Smells a little off but looked near immaculate. Any ideas?
Here’s the car after installing new wheels a couple of weeks back and just recently finish dialling the fitment but it could be better. I don’t want to lower the car even more since I need to go home and park the car inside, maybe I can lower it little bit but I think I’m happy on how it sits.

I’m currently in the process of removing the inlet manifold and have been overwhelmed by the complexity in doing so.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks with removing the manifold?

I’m in the process of modding my jzx and am up to the stage of removing the fuel rail.
Upon removing the fuel pressure regulator lines, I had been greeted by fuel pissing out everywhere.
Beforehand, I had opened the fuel cap to “depressurise” the fuel system, since I cannot crank the car; however, that has not seemed to work.
Does anyone have any tips to remove the fuel rail and prevent fuel from leaking through the lines? Thanks.
Been having an issue with my jzx stalling itself when i corner hard and add rpms. if i put it in neutral and allow it too roll my rpms come back. Sometimes ill have to turn the ignition to get it back on. Previous owner installed a upgraded fuel pump. Maf is deleted with emu black and bov is deleted aswell.
Im not entirely too sure what could be happening but i'm curious to know if anyone else has had this issue, or what possible diagnostic routes I could go.

It is ideal or better to run electric fans on 1jz ge or stay with the factory clutch fan

unfortunately, my air conditioning has stopped working. I’d like to try having it refilled first.
The problem is that while local workshops are capable of refilling it, they won't work on cars they aren't familiar with or that aren't in their system.
That’s why I’m trying to find out exactly how much R134a gas and ND-8 oil the system requires. So far, I haven't been able to find reliable information on this.
Perhaps one of you knows the correct amounts so I can provide this information to the workshops.
1997 JZX100 Tourer V manual swapped I have the dual throttle body (one electronic and one cable driven)
Just curious but I have been having the ETCS and TRC lights flashing at me after I removed, cleaned and reinstalled my throttle body. Has never shown up before that. But can I just unplug my throttle control module and make it go away or really how can I just fix it. Also I already checked the module for leaking capacitors and its fine I also check every single end of every solder joint and they all tested fine.

Hello, I just acquired a two-tone grey/white Toyota Chaser, and the importer mechanic who is handling the import is offering me a free paint job.
I'm going to have it painted white, but I'm torn between Super White 040 and Pearl White 057.
I'd like it to have nice reflections under neon lights at night because I'm not really a fan of "flat" matte-looking colors on a car.
However, the current white on my Chaser leans heavily towards yellow, which I really dislike.
I'm afraid that a pearl white will lean towards yellow as well.
I need feedback from JZX100 owners who have experience with these exact color codes.
