Guest Request: Kaleb Cooper

I think Kaleb from Clarksons farm would be such a great guest. He’s gained so much popularity from the show and he seems to be loved by everyone. I think it’s also important to have someone so young who’s flying the flag for British farming and inspiring so many young people to get into farming as it’s the cornerstone of the UK and it’s so dominated by the older generation. I think it would be such a great episode!

Guest Idea - Ed Chapman

Hi Happy Hour guys, just a quick idea of someone who I personally would love to see on the pod, it’s Ed Chapman.

His growth on YouTube within the last few years has been superb and I’m a big fan of his channel. I think he’d be great on the pod.

Keep up the great work guys.

McQueens dairies

I’m ashamed of myself, my boyfriend works for McQueens and I’ve recently been fired from my now ex job so I’ve been applying for everything including a canvasser for McQueens which I have a interview for tomorrow, doesn’t help that I’m literally an hour away from norwich, so I could end up at Stevies door

Dream Political Party

I understand that the pod has a strong non political stance but as with all of the dream eps this would just be for a bit of fun.

Everybody creates their own political parties and manifestos.

At the end they do an election and cannot vote for themselves.

What a journey 💛

Hi guys, Jaack here with a little nothing update.

Just want to start by saying a massive thank you for your incredible Happy Hour support recently. Our listener numbers are absolutely insane, which, for a podcast that’s almost 8 years old, is mind-blowing to us. The longevity you’ve given us, and the consistent support makes Stevie, Fiona and I three very happy human beings. Couldn’t do it without you.

I’m due to go to Australia for the month of September so we’ve recently been batch recording MANY episodes so that you’re not left without a month of episodes (although we will be taking a small break mid-September - just to reset. We haven’t taken a break from posting at all this year - we hope you understand!)

The Maisie Adam podcast is being received so well. Thanks again. (We have some wicked guests coming up too… including one with a man who is very much television royalty…)

Finally, here’s a Jaack&Stevie update (so tune out now if you’re not interested!) but we’ve just uploaded our longest ever video. 1 hour 36 minutes of our trip to America last month for Stevie’s birthday. It’s probably our favourite ever Gold Envelopes video. Jason Sudeikis, Stuart Pearce and Steve Bracknell all make cameos!

If you’d like to watch it (maybe when it gets a bit cooler later) then please do! We’d love to know what you think. I’ve posted the link in the comments!
You’re legends.

All my love (and sometimes a bit of hate)

Stevies more famous than Jack…

Was listening to a guest ep of the pod and they were talking about being the most famous from their city…. So I searched up famous people from Norwich and jacks at 6th place … but what’s funnier is that Stevie is actually 5th place…🤣

So I guess Stevie is actually more famous than Jack these days lol 🤷‍♂️🤣

Also can we just appreciate the photos they’ve used🤣

Robbie knows music

Went to see Antony Szmierek because of Robbie. He did not disappoint!

If I remember correctly, Robbie said on the pod he was texting him good night every night. All I could think about during the set 🤣

It’s done!

You guys suggested it. We got it over the line… and WHAT A MAN.

Also… the episode is almost 2 hours long 🔥

Stevie and I have described it as “the best example ever of - even if you don’t know the guest - you HAVE to give it a listen”

Insane ghost sightings and stories from a man who still remains an avid sceptic (which makes the things he’s seen even more unexplainable), the differences in British & American culture by an American who’s more British than we are… and so many laughs.

You’re in for a treat in a week and a bit!

Is it weird I watch happy hour

I’m 14 years old
15 in October
And I listen and watch every single happy hour main show and have done since I was 12.I also listen to most of the guest eps.Ive also rewatched basically every single main show all the way up to Covid times. So I reckon I’ve seen every main show from 200 right to the opposite icks on Monday. Also I used to watch Jaackmate when I was about 9 or 10
So my question how many other 14 year olds are fellow happy hour listeners

Listener Numbere

This isn't intended to be negative but I'm just curious.

I was a very avid listener for years, every single ep, probably multiple times.

I check back occasionally but find much of the content now isn't for me (nor does it have to be) and wonder how much of the old core audience feel the same.

I'd imagine the numbers are a fraction of what they were in the boom times post Covid, but does anyone have any stats?

Glad it still offers content for many and that the lads continue to make a good living mind.

Happy Hour Hall of Fame

I think it would be fun if they did a Listeners Happy Hour Hall of Fame ep, where we submit our object, person, place, feeling or thing and go through them, could even just be a small segment within each main show, where they select like 5 listener ones.

What would everyones Hall of Fame thing be?

Mine would be the feeling of the sun setting at a festival, your fave band is on after a day of your other fave bands and artists, a little tipsy/drunk, weather was a perfect 23-24°C full blue skies in the day, and drops to 18-20° at night, with a bit of rain that lasts for one song, not enough to soak you and piss you off, but enough to perfectly cool things down, and it happens to be in the middle of the most fitting song.
