I had wanted this until I read of such issues and it put me off. Does this happen on every pair or is it random? Is the circled part bound to tarnish/oxidize?

Ordered these Wednesday and finally got them here Friday! Loving the Volvox Olive Green! Was extremely tough to source in Australia, thankfully my local optometry shop, YouWear EyeWear, had gotten one pair in stock. 101/200. Super excited to wear them out!

First pair of aviators. Opinions on fit?

Walked by the NYC store tonight. Can’t wait till this opens, buildout looks very nice.

I got my first pair of JMM last week, Toreno in Boreno shade, I replaced the lens to transaction lens(second pic) and trying to match the original lens. I've been wearing Anne et Valentin, Lindberg, Moscot, Tom Ford, non of them heavier than JMM but surprisingly I get used to it after just one day wearing it whole day. I still bring my Lindberg to read and work to read on screen. I think I'm ready to get second pair of JMM. any recs?

Should have them by Friday. Super excited.

Threw in a custom lens I did instead of the OG lenses.

First pair and I couldn’t be happier. 191/200. Excuse my homeless hair/beard as I’m getting it cut the day before my vacation this week lol

Got them in black too! Best sunglasses I have ever owned. New addiction unlocked 🤣🤣🤣

New Hemmings in Lacquer. Not bad for $1700 sunnies! Also picked up a soft leather case with a Large Longhorn on order atm. Just can’t get enough JMM. Desperately searching for something from their Frontier collection.

I put my prescription in them and I made it a shade darker level 4.

I later redid it, I took the tint down to a level 3 and added the flash coating.

Which ones do you think look best?

Bought both of them from an AD in Austria. Really happy with the purchase. Any questions, just ask me.

Visited the Costa Mesa boutique to look at another model, but these caught my eye in the case and had to try them on. Not what I intended to pickup, but I have a weakness for unusual meta frames, I guess, as I also spontaneously picked up a set of Senna’s from London.

I was swayed by the unique metal / clear acetate combo look, and the weight and fit are nice. I was also surprised by the lens tint which is pretty extreme and best described as neon green.

I guess I’m drawn to models and colors that stand out, which this does. No regrets (yet)!
