What could this be?

The first pendant is the one in question. It’s a second hand piece and there is no certificate. The second one (heart shape) is definitely dyed because it glows on the one side for sure under UV. I’m wondering if anyone could help me figure out what it is.

It doesn’t seem to have the same sound when I hit it with another jade piece. It does sound a bit more hollow, but it’s hard to tell for me. If it’s real jade, it’s at the icy/ glass level and I know it’s not! At the same time, I’ve yet to see an icy/glass level jade piece in person to compare. The fact that it’s 18k gold and diamonds throws me off because why would they use real gold on a fake jade? At the same time the acid test maybe not deep enough and that it could also be gold filled. I supposed if they went the route of faking jade then the gold itself maybe a sham too?

Before I decide to take it to a gemologist, any idea what it could be?

Is this worth it?

I was at a local Chinese marketplace and spotted this bangle (ignore the pendant inside) There’s a certificate not displayed. I was just wondering, does this look real and worth the price? It does to me but I only recently got my first ever jade bangle and I wouldn’t consider my untrained eye reliable lol

My 1st lavander jade bangle 💜

Out of all my 3 jades this one is my absolute favorite since lavander is one of my favorite colors ☺️. The bangle looks stunning in natural sunlight, I'll post the other video with sunlight below. I'm happy that it arrived safely & wasnt damaged during shipping!

Help please! If i’m dropping $1k cad (~$700 usd), which of the two should I get?

The first two photos is a slim oval white-lavender to light green opaque glutinuous bangle from baikalla that I’ve been eyeing for a while. I have thin wrists so I’ve always wanted to try out an oval bangle, and the width on this is only 8mm which is something I don’t have yet in my collection.

The 3rd to last photos are from a local fb marketplace listing I just stumbled upon a couple days ago. It’s got jelly-like translucency (icy glutinuous?) and high perfection piece. It’s got the cert and there’s also a video i’ll attach to the thread to see the inner fibers of the jade. It’s got a natural color line as its only “flaw” (i can barely see it unless under light). Basically, I fell in love at first sight and now i’m stumped :(

I only own lower quality jade so far so I’ve been wanting to get some “better” pieces for myself and these two are within my budget.

I feel like there’s an obvious answer to this question (the fb marketplace one) but the Baikalla oval bangle keeps tugging on me 😅

Which one would YOU choose in this situation??

White Stack

Loving the slim white hetian bangle for this hot summer 🥵☀️and trying out some stacks! Would love to see how others wear white jadeite or nephrite 🤍!

My collection and most recent piece😍

Feel free to leave opinions! I love hearing thoughts! These are all the bangles I currently own and I am waiting on 9 more to arrive. Picture 2 is my full set of spring color bangle all certified type A. And all gelatinous/jelly/to icy in quality. Picture 3 all came from one seller by the name of Ruby (Jadeble). I like to call her my jade plug☺️. The last bangle in photos 4 & 5 I just posted a video of so everyone could see the quality and the cool internal structure of the bangle. It looks like frost on a windowsill. Check out my last post to see what I mean.💕

"Wild how different these look now.

Left: The rough slab before work began. Right: The final result.
Didn't even make it to the display shelf—someone bought the whole lot straight off the bench. Unreal.

Hi I have a question for the jade bangle wearing community. I'm new to jade and was wondering what you think about this bangle?

I took these pictures immediately after opening the box because it didn't feel right to me. There were a lot of rough areas and pitted areas. Around the exterior and even the inside it looks like scratches that you can feel. These remind me of a bird pecking at it. The crack seems like it is deeper than the seller said because I can feel it with my finger and fingernail. She said they were not structural but I think they are because I can feel that crack its open and seems to wrap around a bit. There is even some black pit inside the crack. Perhaps the seller dropped this? I'm new to jade bangles (just got my first one in June of this year) and wanted to know what you think. It was not expensive but what I could afford now. Thank you!

Thrift find!

Found this bangle for $20 at the thrift today! My other two bangles are soft greens or lavender, so I like the black and green look of this one. The store employee was so confused when I asked for a piece of string to do a sound test. It passed the light and black light tests too! No cracks either! It's a bit big for me, but it was too cool a find to pass up.

Thoughts?

I bought this bangle from Kathy Jade a few months back and noticed a tiny surface pit. I emailed KJ and they told me this was natural and does not weaken the bangle. I pressed a little more and they told me I could return it on my dime of course. I decided to keep it. I paid just under 1k for it. I love the color of this bangle but I just can't "unsee" it when I'm in a mood and other days I can't even find it.

Has Anyone Shopped at H&F Jewelry and Jade Before?

As the title says, has anyone bought the jade from this business before? If so, what are your thoughts?

Is the stuff on here overpriced?

Jade A - Green Medicated Oil

This jade beaded bracelet features a beautiful medicated-oil green color (green oil sheen), an exquisite water seed (high translucency), and a smooth, jelly-like texture.

With excellent light transparency and perfectly uniform beads, it looks stunning on the wrist and makes your skin tone look much brighter.

This bracelet perfectly aligns with modern trends, as jade enthusiasts nowadays increasingly prioritize the grade and clarity over just the color.

The jade's tone gives it a glistening illusion on the wrist, looking perpetually moist, glossy, and smooth. It is simply mesmerizing.

*Size: 7mm
*Price: 145 USD (included shipping)
*Payment method: paypal

My new favorite bangle and how I refresh it. Hope you enjoyyy 😍

This bracelet was imported directly from Fuzhou, China. I spent a lot of time carefully selecting it to find one with such a clear, smooth, jelly-like, and beautiful texture. However, because it is very affordably priced, there will be a few slight internal flaws (veins) inside. This is common knowledge for any jade enthusiast. You either play for the clarity/grade, or you play for the color. If you want something perfect with both top-tier grade and color, the price will be exceptionally high.

And the clip above shows how I transformed my heavily-veined jade bracelet into a highly poetic piece, adorned with beautiful flower shapes.

Is this real jade?

Got this as a gift but can't tell if it is real. Don't know much about this stuff. Looks too green to me
