Jamaica Plain repping the Arsenal.
The Jeanie Johnston reached out to me and said they would love to throw a big watch party for a match or two of the World Cup (though they will likely be showing more/all games). I don't want to do it for any US Games to compete with AO Boston, and not for Scotland either as The Haven has that on lock.
So outside those two teams, which matches are you most excited for and would watch at the Jeanie? The Jeanie said they could work with a sponsor for the events, so likely swag give-aways, maybe food/drinks specials? I don't work there so I can't make any promises. I'm just a regular who they know is very involved in the Boston Soccer scene.
Lemme know what matches you would go to The Jeanie Johnston for in the comments below!

Speeding on Centre Street between Murray Circle and Allandale has gotten completely out of hand. Residents can't safely pull out of side streets. Pedestrians can't cross safely. Last week, a neighbor was hit at Louders Lane—his car was totaled and the driver took off.
This has been a problem for decades, but it's accelerating. We all share the same fear: how long before someone is killed? We're asking the Department of Conservation and Recreation, State Police, and our elected officials to stop waiting for a tragedy.
We started a petition asking for three concrete things: an immediate community meeting with officials, visible traffic enforcement TODAY (not after a study), and a commitment to traffic calming measures and a proper safety review at our most dangerous intersections.
If you live near Centre Street or know Jamaica Hills, you've probably white-knuckled through this stretch. If this is hitting home, would you consider signing and sharing? This is about preventing someone from getting seriously hurt—or worse.
