ptj is probably a gun glazer.

Like, if PTJ wanted to make James look cool, like he had a throne or something, why the hell did he bury the guy in a pile of rocks? Wasn't it just a matter of leaving that image of him on top of the rocks? Sometimes I think PTJ also likes to defame James. Like, dude, what's so hard about just making him sit on the rocks? But no, the guy made it look like he got punched by Tom Lee.

Put on a shirt vs. Empowering

As much as I love Kitae, I have to admit that he didn't catch slander like this. Pre-awakened JAke punched the UI out of Gun, but anything James does, they try to turn into slander. They just hate james. Gun fans are the worst fandom hands down

Impossible to have actual discussions about James on the main subs now

What did this guy do for the entire community to turn on him lmfao

Its weird because people wanted him to fight for so long and we got two fights from him in the last ~40 chaps where both of them ended with him doing his god path shit while clearly not putting 110% effort into either one and somehow its a bad look for him?

The MC literally starts his fights now pathing people out the ass(and people are like OMG BRAH UNBEATABLE HE'S GONNA BE THE GOAT) but when James uses it against the Ultimate King's 4T GAP level strike its a downscale? Huh?

Kitae faced two incomplete path users but I would say throughout all of that the most dangerous attack of the arc was Tom's 4T strike and James countered it and probably used something even stronger to counter

Am i reading a different story or something? What is with the eagerness to want him to be weak? Is it just Fandoms or what? They want the 2nd most important character tied to the two body problem(basically Elite's successor) to be a weak guy?

James being weak after all this would mean PTJ just sets his story on fire, the scaling in these communites is coming at the expense of reading comprehension.

It's so odd to me, ive never seen a community basically completely drop the storytelling in their analysis and just overemphasize what a character looks like or reacts like in a panel during a fight

Again, James states he is complete right? Okay, all the other high level characters got unique skills, mixing and matching masteries, but James just skates around with speed, uses IA, and then makes the screen go white when he's ready to end the fight, are we not using our brains? He clearly hasnt shown us what he is fully capable of onscreen, when has he had to? We are downscaling a guy who never even shows us 100% effort and hasnt lost a fight on screen in the current timeline? Literally not possible

If pressing the path button 1 time beat Tom, while the MC is damn near living in it during his important fights, what basis is James getting downscaled for? Especially when path is the accumulation of their own talent to begin with, "path merchant" is like saying Super Sayian Blue Merchant, 8 Gates merchant, Bankai merchant, Haki merchant(dont take the last two seriously if they dont apply I havent read Bleach/One Piece deeply enough to know if those fit but you get my point)

....what?

I'm not james lee's fan but i gotta accept james lee hate looks kinda forced to me

I mean bro endured and tanked all attacks of tom lee without any significant damage who's confirmed to be old gap lvl

The fact is that he became faster after enduring an unique skill from tom lee shows his durability is at peak condition

Bro was threatening gitae after being smashed to walls also shows no significant damage on his body. He was just chilling there and ptj made just a visual throne on wall which is kind of visual storytelling.

You could see it's looking like a throne

turns out that crater in the new chap is just when tom slammed in him the previous chap

that was literally the last position james was in before he used path, james simple resting on it,

Isn't it obvious that ptj made this panel for aura farming? He looked completely fine in later panels and was even threatening gitae

Lookism fans cannot comprehend the fact that authors have their independent artistic thoughts and not everything is required to be logical like why isn't he resting on ground or chair?

I mean just think logically first gen and gentlemen would have brought him to ground if he was really injured but they did not because they knows he's just resting.

It's just simple that ptj thought that this panel would look more cool

James Lee vs Tom Lee did NOT cause that embedded wall panel for James.

James Lee vs Tom Lee did NOT cause that embedded wall panel for James.

James had already won the moment he used Path.

What I think happened offscreen is this:

After beating Tom Lee, the other Gen 1 kings told James that Daniel Park died. That's when James completely lost his mind and started destroying everything around him. The wall crater, the blood, the ruined area, I think that was all James going berserk after hearing about Daniel.

I even think he killed all the Gen 1 members there before sitting down and waiting for Kitae and Changsu.

Look at James carefully in this chapter.

When he first asked "Where is Daniel Park?", he didn't look exhausted, shocked, or heavily injured. He sounded calm.

Then Kitae said "No" and explained what happened to Daniel as well as Raised a question "I don't understand why you wanted him alive." Then changsu explained why killing Daniel was the right decision. During all of that, James stayed silent and just listened.

What stood out to me is that James didn't react with shock after hearing Daniel died. No sudden expression change, no disbelief. That's because he probably already heard it from the Gen 1 members before Kitae arrived.

Then after Kitae and Changsu finished talking, James immediately brought up the fact that he specifically told Kitae to bring Daniel alive because Daniel is important to his plan. After that, he starts taunting Kitae.

To me, this chapter was basically setting up that:

James already knew Daniel died before Kitae arrived.

The silence in the beginning was grief and anger being held back.

The final panel is the moment that anger finally surfaces.

And now we're probably getting James Lee vs Kitae Kim next chapter.

Do you guys think James Lee genuinely cares about Daniel?

Do you think James Lee is this pissed off because he needs Daniel for his plans?

Or does James Lee actually care about Daniel in some way?
